For a balance of performance and portability with a stunning OLED display, the ASUS Vivobook S 16 OLED is a strong choice, especially if you value a high-quality screen for general use and creative tasks. It's lighter and thinner, making it more suitable for on-the-go use, and offers a number pad for productivity. However, its gaming and engineering capabilities are limited compared to the Eluktronics RP-15, which boasts a more powerful GPU and CPU, ideal for intensive tasks like gaming, 3D rendering, and machine learning. The RP-15's battery life is shorter, and it's heavier and bulkier, but it provides better performance for specialized tasks. Consider the Vivobook for its superior display and portability, and the RP-15 for its raw power and gaming prowess. Give Feedback

Eber Anthony | October 2020
"To conclude, I’m genuinely impressed with Eluktronics and what they have been able to deliver with the RP-15. You see this is all about maximizing performance, cooling, and giving users the most flexible I/O, and then wrapping it into a chassis that doesn’t feel super cheap. Let’s also not forget the price point, I think they have really nailed it in that department."

About ASUS

ASUS, a Taiwanese electronics brand, is one of the largest personal computer vendor by market share. The majority of their laptops are targeted towards personal use or gaming. Their most popular product lines include the budget-friendly VivoBook, more premium ZenBook, and their TUF and ROG gaming laptops, the latter of which has a reputation for excellent gaming performance.

About Eluktronics

Eluktronics is a relatively new American gaming laptop company, founded in 2011. They are a reseller for the Taiwanese brand Clevo, who manufacture laptops exclusively and ship them to resellers like Eluktronics who customize them. Eluktronics laptops generally have great hardware specifications for the money, including the CPU, GPU, and RAM. They also feature a relatively clean design by gaming laptop standards, with few logos and discreet colors.
