For a balance of performance and portability with a stunning OLED display, the ASUS Vivobook S 15 OLED is a strong choice, especially for creative tasks and general use. It offers better color accuracy and a higher refresh rate, which is great for media consumption and light gaming. However, it's pricier and might be overkill if you don't need the superior screen quality. The MSI GF63 Thin, on the other hand, is more budget-friendly and still provides decent gaming performance with its dedicated Nvidia GPU, making it suitable for casual gamers. It's also lighter on features, with a standard 60Hz IPS display and fewer connectivity options, but it's more affordable and has a longer battery life, which is ideal if you're often on the move and need your laptop to last through the day. LaptopMag

Darragh Murphy | November 2022
"The Asus Vivobook S 15 OLED excels as a capable work machine at an affordable price. It offers commendable performance, thanks to its 12th Gen Intel chip, delivers quality on-screen entertainment with its 15.6-inch OLED display, and can (kind of) get you through a full day of work. Oh, and its special Asus Antibacterial Guard is a nice touch for those who like a clean laptop."

NotebookCheck

Florian Glaser | January 2020
"If you leave aside the meagre port selection (no card reader, no DisplayPort, no Thunderbolt 3 or USB 3.1 Gen2), the fan control that could be improved (idle mode!) and the relatively dark and slow display, the MSI GF63 Thin 9SC does not have any major weaknesses. The 15-inch gamer is compact, has a low weight and offers a good price-to-performance ratio, which should please gamers that are looking for both a portable and an affordable gaming notebook. Input devices, battery life, case quality and performance are all appropriate for this purchase price."
