The ASUS Vivobook S 15 OLED is a great choice for those who prioritize a vibrant OLED display with excellent color accuracy and a high refresh rate, which is fantastic for media consumption and everyday tasks. It's also more portable and less expensive than the Dell Alienware m16 R2, making it suitable for users on the go who don't need top-tier performance. However, its gaming and engineering capabilities are limited compared to the Alienware, and it has fewer ports, which might be a drawback for some. On the other hand, the Dell Alienware m16 R2 is tailored for users who need powerful performance for gaming, 3D rendering, and machine learning tasks, thanks to its superior Nvidia RTX 4060 GPU and additional RAM. It also offers a higher resolution IPS display with a faster refresh rate, which is beneficial for gaming and engineering work. The Alienware is heavier and pricier, and its battery life is shorter, but it comes with a more robust build, better cooling, and an array of ports that cater to a wider range of peripherals and external displays, making it a better fit for intensive tasks and gaming. Darragh Murphy | November 2022
"The Asus Vivobook S 15 OLED excels as a capable work machine at an affordable price. It offers commendable performance, thanks to its 12th Gen Intel chip, delivers quality on-screen entertainment with its 15.6-inch OLED display, and can (kind of) get you through a full day of work. Oh, and its special Asus Antibacterial Guard is a nice touch for those who like a clean laptop."

LaptopMag

Momo Tabari | January 2024
"Alienware’s m16 R2 is a solid gaming laptop that leaves much to be desired, particularly in its quest to fulfill your needs as a product for productivity. Battery life under eight hours and a dim display are both vital issues for something that will accompany you through school projects or a workday. However, the Alienware m16 R2 is an exceedingly powerful gaming laptop, consistently being one of the best in our performance tests when compared against similar products. Even then, its display is lacking color, its fans get pretty darn loud, and its speakers aren’t punchy enough to rise above that noise."
