The ASUS Vivobook S 14 OLED is a compelling choice for those who prioritize portability, battery life, and a vibrant OLED screen with excellent color reproduction, making it ideal for general use and content consumption. Its sleek design and lower midrange price point make it an attractive option for everyday tasks and light productivity. However, its performance capabilities are more limited compared to the MSI GP66 Leopard, particularly for gaming, 3D rendering, and intensive engineering tasks, due to its less powerful GPU and CPU.
On the other hand, the MSI GP66 Leopard, while pricier and bulkier, offers superior performance for gaming, 3D applications, and engineering workloads with its high-end Nvidia RTX 3080 GPU and Intel i7-11800H processor. It also boasts a higher refresh rate screen, which is beneficial for smoother gaming experiences. The Leopard's build is more suited for stationary use due to its weight and size, and it has a shorter battery life compared to the ASUS.
In summary, if you need a lightweight, long-lasting laptop for general use with a stunning display, the ASUS Vivobook S 14 OLED is the way to go. But if performance is your top priority, especially for gaming and demanding software, and you don't mind a larger, less portable device, the MSI GP66 Leopard is the better investment. Give Feedback

How the ASUS Vivobook S 14 OLED and the MSI GP66 Leopard compare to other laptops
"The MSI GP66 Leopard is a good budget high-performance gamer. The MSI also does a lot right outside of the pure performance despite it's low price. For example, the adaptive cooling system really surprised us positively, even in Extreme Performance Mode. And the display is not a budget panel either, but at least outshines the competition in terms of brightness. Of course, you also have to accept a few compromises in this price category. These include the Leopard's poor battery runtimes and the less than optimal build quality, which is also noticeable in the more complicated maintenance."
