The ASUS Vivobook Pro 14 offers a balance between performance and portability, with its higher refresh rate display being suitable for smooth visuals. However, the Lenovo Flex 5 16 has a larger screen, better multitasking capacity with more RAM, and a slightly more powerful processor, making it better for demanding tasks and engineering software. It also has a touchscreen and provides longer battery life, which may be valuable for productivity and convenience. The Lenovo is heavier, which could affect portability. The ASUS may appeal for its OLED display with better color reproduction, portability, and lower cost, while the Lenovo stands out for its performance and larger touchscreen display. Give Feedback

The Lenovo Flex 5 16 and ASUS Vivobook Pro 14 are both good for general use, though the Lenovo Flex 5 16 is somewhat better.
The ASUS Vivobook Pro 14's OLED screen offers excellent color coverage and contrast, making it visually striking, though its smaller RAM and lower-tier CPU make it less robust for intensive tasks compared to the Lenovo Flex 5 16, which boasts a more powerful CPU and double the RAM for smoother performance. While the Vivobook Pro is more portable due to its lighter construction, the Flex 5 compensates with a larger screen, touchscreen capability, and longer battery life, enhancing its flexibility for a variety of uses.

The ASUS Vivobook Pro 14 has a better screen than the Lenovo Flex 5 16 for general use, gaming and AI, and engineering and design, while the Lenovo Flex 5 16 has a better screen for content creation, and software development.
If you prioritize image and video clarity for work or entertainment, the ASUS Vivobook Pro 14 offers superior screen resolution and brightness, making it a better fit for general use and detailed engineering or design tasks due to its robust color coverage. However, if you lean towards frequent gaming or 3D applications, you’ll find the ASUS's lower refresh rate less than ideal, potentially leading to less smooth visuals when compared to laptops built for gaming. The Lenovo Flex 5 16, while offering an overall good viewing experience for general and professional use, also falls short for gaming and may not match the ASUS's performance for color-sensitive tasks.

The Lenovo Flex 5 16 and ASUS Vivobook Pro 14 are both only fair for gaming and AI.
The ASUS Vivobook Pro 14 offers a higher screen refresh rate and an OLED screen which may lead to a more fluid and vibrant gaming experience, but it has a similar GPU compared to the Lenovo Flex 5 16 which may limit gaming performance to some extent. While the Lenovo Flex 5 16 has a larger screen and comes with a CPU that is generally better for multitasking, it has a lower refresh rate IPS screen which is less ideal for fast-paced games but it might still provide adequate performance for casual gaming and 3D tasks.

How the ASUS Vivobook Pro 14 and the Lenovo Flex 5 16 compare to other laptops
"The Asus Vivobook Pro 14 OLED is a Pantone Validated laptop that packs a lot of processing power. The Asus VivoBook Pro 14 OLED's highlight is its outstanding display: Featuring a 3K resolution in the 16:10 format and nearly a 100% coverage of the Display P3 color space, the display hardly leaves anything to be desired. The Asus laptop also shows impeccable rates in terms of general system performance. Combined with long battery life, low noise emissions, and relatively good speakers, the laptop can be recommended to users who can accept compromises in terms of connectivity."
"The Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 5 is a solidly equipped, 2-in-1 in the lower price segment. Performance is definitely sufficient for everyday tasks and in tests the battery proved itself to be very economical. That aside, there is a lot of standard fare on show and a search for real highlights ends in vain. The low color coverage and reflective display can be avoided by going for an optional 2.5K display but this also presumably results in poorer battery life. The cooling uses only one fan and leads to a raised temperature on one side of the device under load. Additionally, there is very loud fan noise, also under load or when gaming. On top of that, we also occasionally noticed electronic noises."
