The ASUS Vivobook 16X is a good choice if you're looking to save money without sacrificing too much performance, especially if you need a laptop for demanding tasks like gaming or engineering, as it includes a dedicated graphics card. However, the Vivobook is heavier and not as portable as the Dell XPS 13 Plus. The XPS 13 Plus, while pricier, offers a more compact, lightweight design and a higher resolution display, making it suitable for frequent travelers who also require a high-quality screen for general usage or media consumption. Keep in mind that the XPS 13 Plus uses integrated graphics, which may not be as powerful for intensive tasks. Give Feedback

The Dell XPS 13 Plus is very good for general use, while the ASUS Vivobook 16X is good.
The ASUS Vivobook 16X, with a larger screen and generally adequate CPU and RAM, can handle everyday tasks comfortably, but it might be less portable and have a shorter battery life compared to the Dell XPS 13 Plus, which offers higher screen quality, superior portability with a smaller frame, and longer battery life, making it exceptionally good for carrying around and using for extended periods without needing to recharge.

The ASUS Vivobook 16X is good for gaming and AI, while the Dell XPS 13 Plus is only fair.
The ASUS Vivobook 16X is good for gaming and 3D tasks due to its Nvidia RTX 4060 GPU, which is superior for graphics-intensive activities compared to the integrated Intel Iris Xe GPU in the Dell XPS 13 Plus. However, while the Vivobook's higher screen refresh rate benefits fluid visuals in gaming, the XPS 13 Plus offers a higher resolution OLED display for sharper image quality, though with a lower refresh rate.

The Dell XPS 13 Plus has a better screen than the ASUS Vivobook 16X for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
When considering the ASUS Vivobook 16X, the visual fidelity is suitable for everyday tasks and professional applications like engineering due to its satisfactory resolution and color accuracy, yet it falls short for gaming and 3D work because of its limited refresh rate. The Dell XPS 13 Plus, on the other hand, offers a higher resolution and superior color range, making it excellent for precise design work while remaining very good for general usage; however, like the ASUS, it is not ideal for gaming or 3D applications because of its lower refresh rate. For general use, both laptops provide screens that are bright and clear, but for specialized tasks in engineering and design or for the smooth visuals required by modern gaming, each has its distinct advantages and limitations.

How the ASUS Vivobook 16X and the Dell XPS 13 Plus compare to other laptops
"I think the ASUS Vivobook 16X is fantastic. Great performance, decent battery life, good keyboard and trackpad, and a massive screen – just that the screen quality itself is kinda subpar. If you’re okay with the screen, then I think this is an okay laptop. However, I’d like to see a price drop."
"The XPS 13 Plus is powerful, but has its drawbacks. Dell did not only update the processor generation, but also decided to offer two completely different models from now on. The XPS 13 Plus gets the faster Intel Alder Lake-P chips, and the Core i7-1260P in our review unit offers good performance figures. However, the device once again shows the problems of the current Intel CPUs, because the high performance requires a lot of power. This affects the battery runtime as well as temperatures, so the new model (even with the Optimized power profile) is louder than the older model."
