The ASUS Vivobook 16 offers a larger screen and more storage space, suitable for users who prioritize ample display and storage for multitasking and media. On the other hand, the MSI Summit E13 Flip Evo is lighter and more portable, with better build quality, making it ideal for on-the-go professionals needing a durable device. The MSI also has a touchscreen and can be flipped to function as a tablet, which is excellent for presentations or creative tasks. The ASUS trades some portability for a larger workspace and may be more cost-effective, so consider whether mobility or screen real estate is more crucial for your use. Give Feedback

The MSI Summit E13 Flip Evo has a better screen than the ASUS Vivobook 16 for general use, gaming and AI, and engineering and design.
For general use, the ASUS Vivobook's screen may not offer the same sharpness or vibrancy as the MSI Summit due to lower resolution and brightness, making everyday tasks or streaming less visually pleasing. In engineering and design, the Vivobook's inferior color gamut coverage compared to the MSI Summit could result in less accurate color representation, which is crucial for professional photo editing or CAD work. When it comes to Gaming and 3D, both laptops may disappoint due to their poor refresh rates, but the MSI's better resolution and panel quality will offer a somewhat improved experience despite not being optimal for fast-paced games or high-end 3D rendering.

How the ASUS Vivobook 16 and the MSI Summit E13 Flip Evo compare to other laptops
Olivier Martin, Ryan Lim, Yannick Khong | May 2023
"The ASUS Vivobook 16 M1605 (2023) is a budget Windows laptop. It's available with various AMD Ryzen 5000 and 7000 U-series CPUs and integrated graphics. You can only get 8GB of RAM; however, there's an empty SO-DIMM slot if you want to upgrade it. It has an FHD+ (1920 x 1200) 16:10 IPS display, a full-size keyboard with a Numpad, a 720p webcam, and Wi-Fi 6E wireless connectivity. Ports include three USB-As, one USB-C, an HDMI, and a headphone jack. The USB-C supports charging but no video output."
"MSI wants to prove that it can do more than just gaming laptops and the Summit E13 Flip is a great example of what the manufacturer is capable of especially in terms of aesthetics and performance. Normally for subnotebooks or convertibles, TDP and performance are often below average as makers want to meet slimmer designs and lower weight targets. The Summit manages to outperform others in its size class and category while still looking sleek and portable in the process. If you want a convertible that won't throttle significantly when under load, then this MSI will be one of the better options you can find."
