When choosing between the ASUS Vivobook 16 and the HP 15" Laptop, consider your needs closely. The ASUS Vivobook has more storage and memory, and a slightly better processor with integrated graphics, which may offer better performance for intensive tasks like 3D rendering or engineering work. However, it comes at a higher price and is a bit heavier, affecting portability. On the other hand, the HP 15" Laptop is more budget-friendly with less power and storage, but it's lighter, making it easier to carry around. Its performance is suitable for general use such as web browsing, office work, and media consumption. Neither laptop is ideal for intensive gaming, but both are capable of casual gaming. The ASUS has a slightly larger screen with a higher resolution and different aspect ratio, which could be beneficial for multitasking and productivity tasks. Both run Windows 11 Home and have similar battery capacities, but the ASUS's battery life during typical usage is slightly better. If top-notch keyboard quality, color reproduction, and screen performance are important to you, the ASUS slightly outperforms the HP. Consider these tradeoffs carefully when making your decision. Olivier Martin, Ryan Lim, Yannick Khong | May 2023
"The ASUS Vivobook 16 M1605 (2023) is a budget Windows laptop. It's available with various AMD Ryzen 5000 and 7000 U-series CPUs and integrated graphics. You can only get 8GB of RAM; however, there's an empty SO-DIMM slot if you want to upgrade it. It has an FHD+ (1920 x 1200) 16:10 IPS display, a full-size keyboard with a Numpad, a 720p webcam, and Wi-Fi 6E wireless connectivity. Ports include three USB-As, one USB-C, an HDMI, and a headphone jack. The USB-C supports charging but no video output."

Alex Iliev | August 2022
"Chances are high that the HP 15 is one of the first laptops to pop up when you search for an inexpensive notebook. Indeed, its price tag is very tempting for many, and of course, this is the reason for its popularity. However, the HP 15" suffers from poor performance due to low power consumption. On the bright side, one of the good things about it is the port selection. On the inside, this includes two SODIMM slots for memory, an M.2 PCIe x4 slot for storage, and a SATA drive bay. However, the TN panel, and mediocre input devices are not ideal."
