The ASUS Vivobook 16 offers a larger screen and more storage, which can be beneficial for multitasking and data-intensive tasks. However, the Dell XPS 13, while having a smaller display and less internal storage, is lighter and has a longer battery life, making it more suitable for those prioritizing portability and on-the-go use. Both have similar amounts of RAM and comparable processors. The Dell XPS 13 could be more attractive for tasks like video conferencing, with higher ratings for webcam and speakers. Consider the Vivobook if you want a bigger screen and more storage, or the XPS for its portability and better battery life. Give Feedback

The Dell XPS 13 has a better screen than the ASUS Vivobook 16 for general use, gaming and AI, and engineering and design.
The ASUS Vivobook 16's screen may not have the high resolution or brightness that boosts its appeal for general use, and it lacks the wide color gamuts required for precision in engineering and design tasks. The Dell XPS 13 offers superior resolution and brightness, enhancing the experience for everyday tasks and professional work, along with better color accuracy for tasks demanding true-to-life hues. However, both laptops have screens with lower refresh rates which are not ideal for 3D applications where smoother visuals are critical for an optimal experience.

How the ASUS Vivobook 16 and the Dell XPS 13 compare to other laptops
Olivier Martin, Ryan Lim, Yannick Khong | May 2023
"The ASUS Vivobook 16 M1605 (2023) is a budget Windows laptop. It's available with various AMD Ryzen 5000 and 7000 U-series CPUs and integrated graphics. You can only get 8GB of RAM; however, there's an empty SO-DIMM slot if you want to upgrade it. It has an FHD+ (1920 x 1200) 16:10 IPS display, a full-size keyboard with a Numpad, a 720p webcam, and Wi-Fi 6E wireless connectivity. Ports include three USB-As, one USB-C, an HDMI, and a headphone jack. The USB-C supports charging but no video output."
"In the past, the XPS 13 was a hands-down contender for the best laptop on the market. But the Apple-silicon MacBook has since barrelled onto the scene, and it wipes the floor with most of the ultraportable Windows laptops that cross my desk on a daily basis. This XPS is no exception. Compared to the M2 MacBook Air, battery life is worse."
