The ASUS Vivobook 15 is significantly less expensive and lighter, making it more portable, but it has lower performance with its Intel i3 processor, less RAM, and storage than the Dell XPS 15. The XPS 15, while more expensive, offers higher performance suited for intensive tasks like 3D rendering and engineering, with its Intel i7 processor and dedicated Intel Arc A370M graphics. It also has a longer battery life and superior screen quality that covers a broader range of colors, important for those involved in visual work. The tradeoff is the XPS 15 is heavier, which could affect its portability. Give Feedback

The Dell XPS 15 has a better screen than the ASUS Vivobook 15 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
The ASUS Vivobook 15 provides adequate visual clarity and color for everyday tasks, but it may lack the resolution and brightness preferred for more vivid and sharp imagery. The Dell XPS 15 offers a brighter display with higher resolution, enhancing the visual experience for both general and engineering/design use, along with wider color coverage essential for color-sensitive work. However, both laptops have screens with lower refresh rates, which is less than ideal for 3D work or gaming that benefits from smoother motion and quicker screen updates.

"The Asus VivoBook 15 is a quiet office notebook with a strong screen. However, the VivoBook 15 still has room for improvement. Office and internet applications as well as simple games do not pose any major challenges for the VivoBook - this is ensured by the built-in combination of Ryzen 7 5700U APU and 16 GB of RAM. Heat and noise emissions are acceptable. But, the laptop has weaknesses that should not be present at this level: lack of keyboard lighting, a slow memory card reader, no fast USB-C port (USB 3.2 Gen 2 or Thunderbolt 4) with Power Delivery and DisplayPort. Battery runtimes can only be described as average."
"The 2023 Dell XPS 15 is more or less exactly what you'd expect from the company flagship. Its fresh components deliver measurably superior power and longevity, while the machine's premium build and design remain intact. It may not be overly exciting, but XPS loyalists and upgraders should be more than happy."
