The ASUS Vivobook 15 is a budget-friendly option that offers modest storage and performance suitable for everyday tasks, with an Intel i3 processor and basic integrated graphics. It's lighter but has less impressive battery life. In contrast, the ASUS Vivobook S 15 is priced higher but comes with considerably more storage, a powerful AMD Ryzen 7 processor, better graphics capabilities, and a larger battery, making it a much better choice for more demanding tasks like engineering or 3D rendering. Both have similar screen sizes and quality, but the S 15's additional cost reflects its enhanced performance and longer-lasting battery. Give Feedback

The ASUS Vivobook S 15 is good for general use, while the ASUS Vivobook 15 is only fair.
The ASUS Vivobook 15 has an Intel i3 processor, 8GB of RAM, and a smaller storage capacity which makes it adequate for general use but may not handle multitasking as efficiently, while the ASUS Vivobook S 15 is equipped with a more powerful AMD Ryzen 7 processor, double the RAM, and significantly larger storage, enhancing its performance for more demanding applications and multitasking. Despite both having comparable screen quality and portability, the Vivobook S 15 also has a longer battery life, which is especially useful for users who need to work on the go without frequent recharging.

The ASUS Vivobook S 15 has a better screen than the ASUS Vivobook 15 for content creation, and software development.
For general use, the ASUS Vivobook 15 and S 15 laptops provide a satisfactory visual experience, but their screens might not be as vivid or as sharp due to limitations in resolution and brightness, which are crucial for clarity and comfort in everyday tasks. In engineering and design tasks that require precise color representation, both of these laptops may fall short since their coverage of professional color gamuts like DCI-P3 and Adobe RGB is likely limited, constraining the accuracy of on-screen color work. When it comes to gaming and 3D applications, the refresh rate of these laptops may not be high enough to offer a seamless experience, and while they have serviceable resolution and panel types, this could detract from the overall immersion and fluidity that these activities benefit from.

How the ASUS Vivobook 15 and the ASUS Vivobook S 15 compare to other laptops
"The Asus VivoBook 15 is a quiet office notebook with a strong screen. However, the VivoBook 15 still has room for improvement. Office and internet applications as well as simple games do not pose any major challenges for the VivoBook - this is ensured by the built-in combination of Ryzen 7 5700U APU and 16 GB of RAM. Heat and noise emissions are acceptable. But, the laptop has weaknesses that should not be present at this level: lack of keyboard lighting, a slow memory card reader, no fast USB-C port (USB 3.2 Gen 2 or Thunderbolt 4) with Power Delivery and DisplayPort. Battery runtimes can only be described as average."
"Internals make Asus VivoBook S15 laptop a compelling option. The Asus multimedia laptop may look rather below-average with its modest black chassis, lack of a dedicated GPU, limited RAM and meagre port selection without Thunderbolt support. But your impression of the device will start changing once you set your eyes on its high-contrast OLED capable of producing deep blacks and highly accurate colours. And your opinion will change completely when the VivoBook is switched on. The AMD CPU can effortlessly keep up with powerful rivals from Intel. The integrated Radeon graphics blows away Intel's iGPU when it comes to graphics workloads such as rendering and simpler games."
