The ASUS Vivobook 14 offers affordability and portability, suitable for general use with moderate battery life, but with limited storage and power for intensive tasks. The MSI Stealth GS66 is more expensive, geared towards high performance in gaming, 3D rendering, and engineering, boasting a powerful GPU and a high refresh rate screen, but with reduced battery life and heavier weight. Select the ASUS for budget-friendly everyday tasks or the MSI if you prioritize high-end gaming and demanding applications with the tradeoff of higher cost and less portability. Give Feedback

The MSI Stealth GS66 is good for gaming and AI, while the ASUS Vivobook 14 is only fair.
The ASUS Vivobook 14 is fair for gaming and 3D due to its integrated Iris Xe graphics and standard 60Hz screen refresh rate, which don't cater heavily to gaming performance. Conversely, the MSI Stealth GS66 is rated good for gaming and 3D because it has a superior Nvidia RTX 3070 Ti GPU and a high 360Hz screen refresh rate, providing fluid visuals and better handling of graphics-intensive tasks.

The MSI Stealth GS66 is very good for engineering and design, while the ASUS Vivobook 14 is only fair.
The Asus Vivobook 14, with a mid-level Intel CPU and integrated GPU, is suitable for lighter engineering and design tasks, supported by an adequate screen quality but modest RAM and storage reflecting its fair assessment. In contrast, the MSI Stealth GS66 boasts a high-end Intel CPU and powerful Nvidia GPU, supplemented by double the RAM and storage, and a higher quality screen, thus excelling in demanding engineering and design applications, at the cost of being less portable due to its increased weight and reduced battery life.

The MSI Stealth GS66 has a better screen than the ASUS Vivobook 14 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
The ASUS Vivobook 14 offers adequate resolution and brightness for everyday tasks, making it suitable for general use, but it falls short for engineering applications due to its limited color range and precision. The MSI Stealth GS66 boasts a screen that provides a good balance of resolution, brightness, and color gamuts, which is beneficial for detailed engineering and design work. However, for gaming and 3D applications, both laptops disappoint because of their screens' lower refresh rates, which are essential for smooth movement and gameplay.

"The MSI Stealth GS66 is powerful enough for QHD. The Core i7-12700H and the GeForce RTX 3070 Ti found in the 12UGS model that we tested run all modern games smoothly in the native QHD resolution. The 15-inch display is very fast with its 240 Hz refresh rate, and it also offers a great color space (almost 100% DCI-P3) on top of that, which should please gamers as well as content creators, although we would have still wished for a higher brightness. Case, input devices, and connectivity (Thunderbolt 4) are at a good level. However, among other things, the GS66 loses points due to the high temperature development in 3D mode and its poor webcam."
