If price is a major concern and you need a laptop for everyday tasks and light gaming, the HP Victus 15 may suffice. However, if you are looking for higher performance in gaming or intensive tasks and are prepared to invest more, the ASUS TUF Gaming A17 offers stronger capabilities. Keep in mind that the A17's larger size may reduce portability compared to the more compact HP Victus 15, and superior performance typically comes with a tradeoff in battery life. Consider your primary use; for demanding applications, the ASUS makes sense, but for general use, the HP could provide better value. Give Feedback

How the ASUS TUF Gaming A17 and the HP Victus 15 compare to other laptops
"There is one big question that needs an answer. Is the TUF Gaming A17 FA707 a better purchase than the ROG Strix G17 G713R (2022)? Well, it depends. Undoubtedly, the Strix is the more premium product. Arguably the biggest advantage it has over its TUF fellow is in regards to the display. ASUS TUF Gaming A17 A707’s IPS panel has a Full HD resolution, comfortable viewing angles, and a very good contrast ratio."
Olivier Martin, Ryan Lim, and Yannick Khong | March 2023
"The HP Victus 15 is great for gaming. It's available with Intel 12th Gen. CPUs and NVIDIA discrete graphics, which are powerful enough to provide a smooth gaming experience in demanding AAA titles at 1080p. It has a nice keyboard and a fast SSD, as well as Wi-Fi 6 and Ethernet connectivity for low-latency online gaming. Unfortunately, its 144Hz display has a slow response time causing noticeable ghosting, and it doesn't support variable refresh rate to reduce screen tearing."
