The ASUS TUF Gaming A16 is geared towards gaming with a robust build, higher refresh rate display, and a dedicated hardware ray tracing GPU, making it suitable for intensive gaming. However, it's heavier and slightly bulkier compared to the Lenovo IdeaPad Pro 5i, which has a superior screen resolution, color coverage, and is lighter, enhancing its portability. The IdeaPad Pro 5i also includes a more versatile GPU with DLSS technology and is marketed as a premium business laptop with a discreet appearance. Both have a similar price point, ample storage, and RAM, but the ASUS is likely to have a marginally better battery life while Lenovo offers a better keyboard and webcam experience. If you prioritize gaming and durability, go for the ASUS, but if you need a mix of business and casual gaming with a lighter device, the Lenovo may be more suitable. Give Feedback

The Lenovo IdeaPad Pro 5i has a better screen than the ASUS TUF Gaming A16 for general use, engineering and design, and content creation.
When selecting a laptop for general use, the Lenovo IdeaPad Pro 5i stands out due to its higher resolution and brighter display, which enhances the viewing experience for everyday tasks such as web browsing and streaming video. For engineering and design work, both laptops offer quality displays with adequate color coverage, but the ASUS TUF Gaming A16 might fall slightly short due to lower color gamut encompassment. However, for gaming and 3D applications where a high refresh rate is crucial, the ASUS may not meet the mark, as it prioritizes other display attributes over the smoothness that gamers and 3D designers look for.

How the ASUS TUF Gaming A16 and the Lenovo IdeaPad Pro 5i compare to other laptops
"The A16 makes an excellent case against more expensive laptops like the Asus ROG Zephyrus Duo 16 and the MSI Katana GF76, especially if you’re into 1080p gaming. However, although its affordable, it doesn’t skimp on performance or a robust chassis. But for me, the biggest factor that sets it apart from these options is its incredible battery life. In my time reviewing laptops, I can’t remember when I last saw a gaming laptop lasted 11 and a half hours on a single charge, which makes the A16, in my book, truly outstanding."
"Lenovo’s IdeaPad Pro 5i represents an impressive opening salvo for Meteor Lake in the ultraportable space against familiar foes from AMD and Apple. Not only does the Core Ultra 5 125H processor provide good performance across the board, but battery life remains a strong point against the Acer Swift Edge 16 with its AMD Ryzen 7 7840U processor. It can’t quite match the endurance of the 15-inch MacBook Pro, but the gap is shrinking."
