For a balance of performance and portability with a focus on gaming and intensive tasks like machine learning or engineering, the ASUS TUF Gaming A16 is a strong contender. It offers a high refresh rate screen with a slightly taller aspect ratio, which is great for gaming and productivity. However, it's a bit heavier and thicker than the Lenovo LOQ 15i. The ASUS also has better color coverage, making it suitable for tasks that require color accuracy.
On the other hand, the Lenovo LOQ 15i is more compact and lightweight, making it a better choice if you prioritize portability. It also has a slightly faster processor and a dedicated Nvidia GPU, which could provide an edge in certain gaming and 3D rendering tasks. However, its screen isn't as advanced as the ASUS, and it lacks some of the premium features like a fingerprint reader and hardware ray tracing.
Consider the ASUS for its superior display and build quality, especially if you're less concerned about carrying it around often. Opt for the Lenovo if you need something easier to carry on a daily basis and are looking for a slight performance edge in CPU-intensive tasks. Give Feedback

How the ASUS TUF Gaming A16 and the Lenovo LOQ 15i compare to other laptops
"The A16 makes an excellent case against more expensive laptops like the Asus ROG Zephyrus Duo 16 and the MSI Katana GF76, especially if you’re into 1080p gaming. However, although its affordable, it doesn’t skimp on performance or a robust chassis. But for me, the biggest factor that sets it apart from these options is its incredible battery life. In my time reviewing laptops, I can’t remember when I last saw a gaming laptop lasted 11 and a half hours on a single charge, which makes the A16, in my book, truly outstanding."
"Even after a short time with the LOQ 15, you'll find it has a lot going for it, but ultimately it's just "good"—not quite a star. The performance is respectable for the hardware it’s running, but Lenovo had to make some design sacrifices to trim the price. One of the better aspects is the keyboard, making it one of the better low-cost gaming laptops to actually put your hands on."
