The ASUS TUF Dash 15 is generally less expensive and offers a solid mix of performance for gaming and work, decent battery life, and good portability. It's also fairly light and has a backlit keyboard, making it suitable for various environments. On the other hand, the MSI Stealth GS66, while more costly, boasts a more powerful GPU for superior 3D rendering and machine learning tasks, potentially better for intensive engineering work. It also has a higher refresh rate display which could be beneficial for gaming, an RGB backlit keyboard for a customizable look, and better overall build and speaker quality. The Stealth's battery life, however, is shorter than that of the TUF Dash 15. Give Feedback

The MSI Stealth GS66 has a better screen than the ASUS TUF Dash 15 for general use, gaming and AI, and engineering and design.
For general use, screens with clear resolution and comfortable brightness, like those on the ASUS TUF Dash 15 and the MSI Stealth GS66, provide a pleasant visual experience for activities such as browsing the web and streaming videos. When it comes to engineering and design, both laptops offer displays with color accuracy vital for precise work in applications that demand a broad range of colors, which is why they're suitable for these tasks. However, for gaming and 3D where fast-moving visuals are the norm, the lower refresh rates on these screens may not deliver the smoothest experience, despite reasonable resolutions and panel quality.

Although they have very similar scores, PerfectRec considers MSI Stealth GS66 to be very good for engineering and design, while the ASUS TUF Dash 15 is good.
The ASUS TUF Dash 15 is equipped with an Intel i7-12650H and Nvidia RTX 3060, which offer solid performance for engineering tasks and design, but the MSI Stealth GS66's Intel i7-12700H and Nvidia RTX 3070 Ti deliver even better performance, essential for more demanding engineering software and complex design work. Additionally, while both have high-quality IPS screens, the MSI's superior color coverage makes it optimal for design accuracy, even though it's slightly heavier and thicker than the ASUS, which might affect portability.

How the ASUS TUF Dash 15 and the MSI Stealth GS66 compare to other laptops
"The Asus TUF Dash F15 FX517ZR is a laptop with mobile RTX 3070 and acceptable battery life. The Asus TUF Dash F15 was made for high-performance applications like video editing, rendering, and gaming. The laptop can manage the latter in QHD resolution and at high to maximum settings. However, the focus isn't on maximum performance, but instead, it's about a compromise between performance and portability."
"The MSI Stealth GS66 is powerful enough for QHD. The Core i7-12700H and the GeForce RTX 3070 Ti found in the 12UGS model that we tested run all modern games smoothly in the native QHD resolution. The 15-inch display is very fast with its 240 Hz refresh rate, and it also offers a great color space (almost 100% DCI-P3) on top of that, which should please gamers as well as content creators, although we would have still wished for a higher brightness. Case, input devices, and connectivity (Thunderbolt 4) are at a good level. However, among other things, the GS66 loses points due to the high temperature development in 3D mode and its poor webcam."
