The ASUS TUF Dash 15, at a lower midrange price point, offers an Intel i7-12650H processor, an Nvidia RTX 3060 graphics card, and a significant battery capacity which translates to longer battery life for typical usage. It is slightly lighter in weight and can be considered more portable than its counterpart. If battery life and affordability are your main concerns, the ASUS could be the right choice. However, if you require more graphical power and better performance for tasks such as 3D rendering or gaming, and you don't mind a slightly higher cost and shorter battery life, the MSI might be a better fit for your needs. How the ASUS TUF Dash 15 and the MSI Pulse GL66 compare to other laptops
"The Asus TUF Dash F15 FX517ZR is a laptop with mobile RTX 3070 and acceptable battery life. The Asus TUF Dash F15 was made for high-performance applications like video editing, rendering, and gaming. The laptop can manage the latter in QHD resolution and at high to maximum settings. However, the focus isn't on maximum performance, but instead, it's about a compromise between performance and portability."
"The MSI Pulse GL66 has a lot of potential for improvement. Although the RTX 3060 is only able to use 105 watts, we still liked the gaming performance, particularly since this also makes the Pulse comfortably efficient but not slow by any means. Neither the dark display with its lame response times, nor USB 2.0 or the lack of Thunderbolt will please real gamers. The use of a sticker factory seal, which is at least questionable, also won't inspire any enthusiasm. It is obvious that the laptop is really designed for price-conscious gamers."
