The ASUS ROG Zephyrus M16 is less expensive than the MSI Stealth GS77, but the MSI offers double the memory, which is beneficial for multitasking and intensive tasks. Despite its higher cost, the MSI Stealth GS77 has a larger 17.3-inch screen and more battery capacity than the ASUS's 16-inch display, but is also heavier, making it less portable. The ASUS has a more powerful main processor and high-end graphics card, making it better suited for gaming and heavy 3D tasks. Both have similar storage capacity and high refresh rate displays, but the choice between them depends on whether you prioritize portability and gaming performance or screen size and multitasking capability. How the ASUS ROG Zephyrus M16 and the MSI Stealth GS77 compare to other laptops
"The ASUS ROG Zephyrus M16 is not yet as optimised as its predecessor. Compared to the previous gen, performance and efficiency have improved significantly. What's more, the wonderful, Mini-LED Nebula display is a contender for the main highlight and almost manages to put the CPU and GPU in the shade. We already found its predecessor to be a well-rounded and well-optimised gaming machine. Generally, but not unequivocally, that also applies to the new Asus M16. Similar to most of the current, new laptops, we are dealing with a double generational leap in terms of the CPU and GPU. However, this change doesn't always run smoothly."
"The MSI Stealth GS77 is better than the GS76... mostly. The GS77 is a few steps forward and a few steps back from the GS76. Improvements are numerous including the stronger and more rigid skeleton, higher resolution webcam, larger clickpad, easier serviceability, relatively similar battery runtimes, newer display options, and higher performance at about the same TDP and TGP levels as before. CPU performance is better than expected even when compared to other laptops with Core i7 or Core i9 processors. The newer model feels more substantial than the outgoing one for higher quality impressions as well."
