For intensive engineering tasks or gaming, the ASUS ROG Zephyrus M16 may be the better choice due to its slightly more powerful graphics card. However, it is less portable than the Lenovo Legion Slim 7 16" due to its larger size and heavier weight. On the other hand, the Lenovo boasts superior battery life, making it a better option for those who need the flexibility of working longer on the go. Both laptops offer similar storage and memory, and are equipped with high-resolution displays that should provide crisp visuals for general use. If portability and battery life are priority, consider Lenovo; for a slight edge in performance, ASUS could be preferred. Give Feedback

How the ASUS ROG Zephyrus M16 and the Lenovo Legion Slim 7 16" compare to other laptops
"The ASUS ROG Zephyrus M16 is not yet as optimised as its predecessor. Compared to the previous gen, performance and efficiency have improved significantly. What's more, the wonderful, Mini-LED Nebula display is a contender for the main highlight and almost manages to put the CPU and GPU in the shade. We already found its predecessor to be a well-rounded and well-optimised gaming machine. Generally, but not unequivocally, that also applies to the new Asus M16. Similar to most of the current, new laptops, we are dealing with a double generational leap in terms of the CPU and GPU. However, this change doesn't always run smoothly."
"The Lenovo Legion Slim 7 is a slim Legion notebook that is just as excellent with Nvidia & Intel. However, the Legion Slim 7i slightly sullied by lacklustre battery life. You get a slim aluminium chassis, great input devices, decent port selection, fast high-quality WQXGA display and great performance. Supporting Thunderbolt 4 is one advantage of the Intel/Nvidia model tested in this review. Moreover, this variant has slightly higher CPU performance as well as better GPU performance in certain applications (e.g. CUDA-based apps). The Lenovo Legion S7i is thin, premium and performant – but less efficient than its AMD counterpart."
