When choosing between the ASUS ROG Zephyrus M16 and the Lenovo Legion Slim 7, consider their respective strengths. The ASUS ROG likely offers higher performance suitable for gaming and intensive tasks due to its gaming-centric hardware; however, it may come at a premium price and with less portability due to its size and weight. The Lenovo Legion Slim, on the other hand, might offer greater portability and a sleeker design, appealing for on-the-go use and general tasks, possibly at a lower price, but it may not match the ASUS in raw performance for demanding software and gaming needs. Battery life will also differ, where the Legion's "Slim" might suggest efficiency, but the actual longevity will depend on hardware consumption and battery size. Assess your priority between performance, portability, and price to make your decision. Give Feedback

The ASUS ROG Zephyrus M16 has a better screen than the Lenovo Legion Slim 7 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
The ASUS ROG Zephyrus M16's screen stands out for general use and engineering due to its combination of high resolution, bright display, and wide color coverage, which ensures crisp, clear visuals and accurate color representation. For engineering and design, the extensive coverage of color gamuts like DCI-P3 and Adobe RGB on the ASUS display means professionals can see a wider range of colors, which is critical for detailed and color-sensitive work. However, for gaming and 3D applications, the refresh rate becomes crucial, and the ASUS might not deliver as smooth visuals compared to laptops with higher refresh rates, despite its other impressive screen features.

How the ASUS ROG Zephyrus M16 and the Lenovo Legion Slim 7 15.6" compare to other laptops
"The ASUS ROG Zephyrus M16 is not yet as optimised as its predecessor. Compared to the previous gen, performance and efficiency have improved significantly. What's more, the wonderful, Mini-LED Nebula display is a contender for the main highlight and almost manages to put the CPU and GPU in the shade. We already found its predecessor to be a well-rounded and well-optimised gaming machine. Generally, but not unequivocally, that also applies to the new Asus M16. Similar to most of the current, new laptops, we are dealing with a double generational leap in terms of the CPU and GPU. However, this change doesn't always run smoothly."
"The Lenovo Legion Slim 7 is a slim Legion notebook that is just as excellent with Nvidia & Intel. However, the Legion Slim 7i slightly sullied by lacklustre battery life. You get a slim aluminium chassis, great input devices, decent port selection, fast high-quality WQXGA display and great performance. Supporting Thunderbolt 4 is one advantage of the Intel/Nvidia model tested in this review. Moreover, this variant has slightly higher CPU performance as well as better GPU performance in certain applications (e.g. CUDA-based apps). The Lenovo Legion S7i is thin, premium and performant – but less efficient than its AMD counterpart."
