The ASUS ROG Zephyrus M16 is the better option if you're interested in high performance, especially for intensive engineering tasks, 3D rendering or gaming. It boasts a more powerful processor and graphics card, which will provide smoother and faster operation in demanding applications. However, this model is heavier and has shorter battery life, so it's less portable. On the other hand, the ASUS Zenbook Duo 14 is more budget-friendly and offers greater portability with a lighter weight and longer battery life, making it suitable for general use and everyday tasks. The Zenbook Duo also features a secondary touchscreen, which could be useful for multitasking. Keep in mind, though, that it has less storage and a less powerful processor and graphics card compared to the Zephyrus M16, which limits its capabilities in more demanding applications. The ASUS ROG Zephyrus M16 and ASUS Zenbook Duo 14 are both good for general use, though the ASUS ROG Zephyrus M16 is somewhat better.
The ASUS ROG Zephyrus M16 outperforms the ASUS Zenbook Duo 14 in areas like CPU and RAM, crucial for multitasking and demanding applications, and it has a higher quality screen which is better for viewing content, but it is less portable and has shorter battery life, making it more suitable for a stationary setting. While the Zenbook Duo 14 offers greater portability and longer battery life which is ideal for on-the-go use, its performance is fair for general tasks due to lower CPU and RAM capabilities and its dual-screen feature, although innovative, adds to its weight and could impact its overall portability.

The ASUS ROG Zephyrus M16 is very good for engineering and design, while the ASUS Zenbook Duo 14 is only fair.
The ASUS ROG Zephyrus M16 stands out for engineering and design use with its more powerful i9 processor, double the RAM, and superior Nvidia RTX graphics compared to the Zenbook Duo 14's i7 processor and integrated graphics. While both have high-quality IPS screens, the M16's larger and higher-resolution display provides better clarity and color accuracy, but it is less portable and has a shorter battery life than the lightweight Zenbook, which also has a secondary touchscreen enhancing multitasking.

The ASUS ROG Zephyrus M16 has a better screen than the ASUS Zenbook Duo 14 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
The ASUS ROG Zephyrus M16 offers a high-resolution display with vibrant colors and high brightness, making it excellent for everyday tasks and professional design work which require such clarity and color accuracy. However, its lesser refresh rate compared to dedicated gaming laptops translates to less smooth visuals in fast-paced games, making it less ideal for gaming and 3D applications. On the other hand, the ASUS ZenBook Duo 14 also offers good resolution and color accuracy for everyday use and design work but falls short in the gaming department due to a similarly lower refresh rate.

"The ASUS ROG Zephyrus M16 is not yet as optimised as its predecessor. Compared to the previous gen, performance and efficiency have improved significantly. What's more, the wonderful, Mini-LED Nebula display is a contender for the main highlight and almost manages to put the CPU and GPU in the shade. We already found its predecessor to be a well-rounded and well-optimised gaming machine. Generally, but not unequivocally, that also applies to the new Asus M16. Similar to most of the current, new laptops, we are dealing with a double generational leap in terms of the CPU and GPU. However, this change doesn't always run smoothly."
"The Asus ZenBook Duo's second screen is like the Apple Touch Bar, but better. Most would agree that having two screens instead of one can really boost productivity and the ZenBook Duo is no different in this regard. It's tough going back to just one screen after becoming accustomed to spacious dual-screen setups. For a laptop form factor, however, users will have to accept some compromises. Firstly, weight is the most obvious drawback as the system is several hundred grams heavier than a regular ZenBook 14. Additionally, colors on the second screen will not be as vivid as the main display."
