The ASUS ROG Zephyrus G15 offers better screen resolution and a higher refresh rate, making it suitable for tasks that require detailed visuals and smooth motion, such as gaming or video editing. It also has a larger storage capacity out of the box. Conversely, the Dell Alienware x14 R1, while having a smaller screen and a lower resolution, is more portable due to its smaller size and slightly lighter weight. Both have similar RAM and high-quality CPUs making them competent for general use, 3D modeling, and engineering software. However, if battery life is crucial, the ASUS has a slightly longer lifespan. Ultimately, your choice will depend on whether you prefer the ASUS's better visual performance and storage or the Dell's increased portability and lower cost. Give Feedback

Florian Glaser | February 2021
"As long as you're aware of the fact that the GeForce RTX 3080 laptop version can only unfold its potential to a limited extent due to Asus's low TDP setting and that it can be slower than a fast RTX 3070 laptop, the ROG Zephyrus G15 GA503Q cuts a fine figure. One of the biggest highlights turns out to be the WQHD panel, since it attracts customers with 165 Hz, relatively fast response times, FreeSync, and good color-space coverage. Other selling points are the surprisingly rich sound, the long battery life, and the sleek design. In terms of looks, the white edition stands out nicely from the competition."

NotebookCheck

Andreas Osthoff | March 2022
"The Alienware X14 series is thinner, but also slower than the competition. With the X series, you get plenty of modern technology: Intel Alder Lake CPUs, GeForce RTX 3000 GPUs, Thunderbolt 4, PCIe 4.0, Wi-Fi 6E, G-Sync, and Advanced Optimus. However, the slim design has some drawbacks, just like its larger siblings. The shifted hinge position results in a very deep device with a large footprint compared to the competition."
