When deciding between the ASUS ROG Strix Scar 15 and the Lenovo Legion Slim 7, consider that the ASUS is typically more expensive but offers higher performance, which might be better for demanding engineering tasks, 3D modeling, machine learning, and gaming. It features a processor and graphics card that are more powerful, providing smoother and faster performance in intensive applications. On the other hand, the Lenovo Legion Slim 7 is lighter and slimmer, offering better portability and is more budget-friendly. It's still capable for general use and moderate gaming, but it won't match the ASUS in terms of raw power. Additionally, the Lenovo might yield longer battery life, being beneficial for those who need to work on the go without frequent charging. Give Feedback

When choosing between the ASUS ROG Strix Scar 15 and the Lenovo Legion Slim 7 for general use, consider that both provide crisp images and good visibility in various lighting conditions, thanks to their high-resolution displays and satisfactory brightness levels. For engineering and design tasks where accurate color reproduction is crucial, both laptops offer good coverage of professional color spaces, which ensures that designs and models appear with true-to-life colors. However, for gaming and 3D applications where the fluidity of motion is key, both laptops may fall short as their screens don't refresh as quickly as some gaming-dedicated models, which could lead to less smooth visuals in fast-paced games or 3D simulations.

How the ASUS ROG Strix Scar 15 and the Lenovo Legion Slim 7 15.6" compare to other laptops
"Asus continues to refine the ROG Strix Scar lineup with new upgrades. The Asus ROG Strix Scar 15 offers almost everything you would expect from a gaming laptop at this price. The build quality is great, connectivity options are decent, and there is enough scope for internal upgrades as well. Asus reverts to membrane switches for the keyboard — though not as "clickety" as the opto-mechanical ones we saw with last year's model, they still make for a decent typing and gaming experience. The lack of biometrics in any form is a downer."
"The Lenovo Legion Slim 7 is a slim Legion notebook that is just as excellent with Nvidia & Intel. However, the Legion Slim 7i slightly sullied by lacklustre battery life. You get a slim aluminium chassis, great input devices, decent port selection, fast high-quality WQXGA display and great performance. Supporting Thunderbolt 4 is one advantage of the Intel/Nvidia model tested in this review. Moreover, this variant has slightly higher CPU performance as well as better GPU performance in certain applications (e.g. CUDA-based apps). The Lenovo Legion S7i is thin, premium and performant – but less efficient than its AMD counterpart."
