The ASUS ROG Strix Scar 15 is a high-performance laptop ideal for intensive gaming, 3D rendering, and engineering, with strong graphics capabilities and a high refresh rate display; however, it comes with a higher price tag, is bulkier, and has less battery life. On the other hand, the Lenovo IdeaPad 5 Pro offers a more budget-friendly option with reasonable performance for general use and professional tasks, a higher resolution display with better color accuracy, and longer battery life, but it is less suitable for demanding gaming or engineering software, and the graphics performance is noticeably lower than the ASUS. Both have solid build quality, but the ASUS leans more towards a gaming aesthetic, while the IdeaPad maintains a more professional appearance. Give Feedback

The ASUS ROG Strix Scar 15 is very good for gaming and AI, while the Lenovo IdeaPad 5 Pro is only fair.
The ASUS ROG Strix Scar 15 excels in gaming and 3D tasks due to its higher-end GPU, the Nvidia RTX 3070 Ti, and a screen refresh rate that's more than double that of the Lenovo IdeaPad 5 Pro's RTX 3050 GPU and lower refresh rate. Although both have quality IPS displays, the ASUS's GPU coupled with the higher refresh rate provides a more fluid visual experience, making it especially better for action-packed games and rendering 3D graphics.

How the ASUS ROG Strix Scar 15 and the Lenovo IdeaPad 5 Pro compare to other laptops
"Asus continues to refine the ROG Strix Scar lineup with new upgrades. The Asus ROG Strix Scar 15 offers almost everything you would expect from a gaming laptop at this price. The build quality is great, connectivity options are decent, and there is enough scope for internal upgrades as well. Asus reverts to membrane switches for the keyboard — though not as "clickety" as the opto-mechanical ones we saw with last year's model, they still make for a decent typing and gaming experience. The lack of biometrics in any form is a downer."
"The Lenovo IdeaPad 5 Pro turns out a successful all-rounder that, aside from 3D applications, always strikes a good or very good figure. This begins with the elegant metal case that isn't particularly light but fairly robust, giving a high-quality impression. The input devices are also better than those of many competitors. Both the keyboard and the touchpad are attractive and comfortable. In addition, the performance of the Ryzen 5 6600HS is easily able to keep up with the Intel competitors."
