The ASUS ROG Strix Scar 15 offers superior performance for gaming and engineering tasks, with a high-refresh-rate display but at the cost of portability and battery life. The ASUS ZenBook Pro 14 Duo, however, is lighter with a high-resolution OLED touchscreen, which is great for creative work and offers better battery life, though it's not as powerful for gaming or engineering software. If high-end gaming and engineering work are your priority, and you're fine with a heavier laptop, the ROG Strix Scar 15 is more suitable. If portability, battery, and a premium creative display matter more, the ZenBook Pro 14 Duo is the better choice. Give Feedback

The ASUS ROG Strix Scar 15 has a better screen than the ASUS Zenbook Pro 14 Duo for gaming and AI, while the ASUS Zenbook Pro 14 Duo has a better screen for general use, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
For general use, the ASUS ZenBook Pro 14 Duo stands out because of its higher resolution and panel brightness, providing crisp, vibrant visuals for everyday tasks like browsing and video watching. In engineering and design, both laptops offer quality screens, but the ZenBook Pro 14 Duo may have better color accuracy, beneficial for professionals working with visual media who require precise color representation. However, for gaming and 3D work, both laptops fall short as their screens may not have the high refresh rates desired for smooth visuals in fast-paced games and 3D modeling, though the Strix Scar 15 could offer better performance in other areas despite its screen limitations.

How the ASUS ROG Strix Scar 15 and the ASUS ZenBook Pro 14 Duo compare to other laptops
"Asus continues to refine the ROG Strix Scar lineup with new upgrades. The Asus ROG Strix Scar 15 offers almost everything you would expect from a gaming laptop at this price. The build quality is great, connectivity options are decent, and there is enough scope for internal upgrades as well. Asus reverts to membrane switches for the keyboard — though not as "clickety" as the opto-mechanical ones we saw with last year's model, they still make for a decent typing and gaming experience. The lack of biometrics in any form is a downer."
"The Zenbook Pro 14 Duo OLED is a well-tuned instrument for content creators, excelling at a range of general office tasks as well as tasks that require a little more grunt like encoding and 3D rendering. The big attraction is the laptop’s dual displays. They’re the best ones we’ve used in an Asus Zenbook Duo laptop to date with a spate of year-on-year improvements that make the visuals more striking and the cross-screen integration easier than ever before."
