Based on the information, if high performance in 3D rendering, machine learning, or gaming is important for you, the ASUS ROG Strix G18 would be a better choice. It has a powerful Intel i9 processor and Nvidia RTX 4070 graphics which are suited for these tasks. However, it is fairly heavy, which could limit its portability. On the other hand, the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Titanium Yoga is much lighter and comes with a touchscreen feature, which makes it more portable and versatile. It also offers better battery life but has a less powerful Intel i5 processor and relies on integrated graphics that are not ideal for graphics-intensive tasks. Both laptops are priced similarly. Choose the ASUS for performance-intensive tasks or the Lenovo for greater portability and longer battery life. Give Feedback

NotebookCheck

Florian Glaser | March 2023
"With the ROG Strix G18, Asus has made an almost consistently good debut in the still quite new 18-inch laptop segment. The base unit case shows a few signs of weakness in the area of stability and is something which has an effect on the perceived quality of the input devices (the chassis tends to rattle a bit). Nevertheless, thanks to generous port features (incl. Thunderbolt 4), a striking design, and extensive lighting (keyboard, LED strip on the front), gamers get a fitting gaming platform."

PCMag

Tom Brant | April 2021
"The ThinkPad X1 Titanium is a showcase of what Lenovo thinks business computing will look like in the near future. People want thinner, lighter laptops with high-quality screens and enough computing power to get their work done. The X1 Titanium achieves these goals with some controversial but innovative design choices, including a redesigned keyboard and a pared-down port selection."
