The ASUS ROG Strix G17 is more suited for gaming and intensive tasks like 3D rendering, engineering, or machine learning due to its powerful processor and high-end graphics card. However, it's larger, heavier, and less portable. It also has a higher price tag. On the other hand, the ASUS Vivobook 15 is more affordable, lighter, and more portable, making it suitable for general use, everyday tasks, and with longer battery life for on-the-go use. It doesn't perform as well with demanding software and games due to its more modest processor and integrated graphics. Give Feedback

The ASUS ROG Strix G17 is good for general use, while the ASUS Vivobook 15 is only fair.
The ASUS ROG Strix G17 is considered good for general use largely due to its powerful CPU and ample RAM, as well as its high-quality screen which is larger and has better color coverage, making it suitable for a variety of tasks, although it is less portable and has a shorter battery life. On the other hand, the ASUS Vivobook 15, while more portable and with a longer battery life, has a less powerful CPU and half the RAM, and its screen, although adequate, does not match the Strix in terms of color accuracy or resolution, making it fair for general use but possibly less suited for demanding applications.

"The Asus ROG Strix G17 is an attractive but unbalanced gaming laptop. Its potent AMD Ryzen 9 processor excels in 1080p gaming, but playing at 1440p leaves the middling GeForce RTX 4060 GPU shouldering most of the burden. The display is exceptionally colorful, which is handy for content creators, but since this is a gaming laptop it would be better served with improved HDR capabilities. If battery life isn't a priority, the Strix G17 could serve as a designer by day and a gamer by night."
"The Asus VivoBook 15 is a quiet office notebook with a strong screen. However, the VivoBook 15 still has room for improvement. Office and internet applications as well as simple games do not pose any major challenges for the VivoBook - this is ensured by the built-in combination of Ryzen 7 5700U APU and 16 GB of RAM. Heat and noise emissions are acceptable. But, the laptop has weaknesses that should not be present at this level: lack of keyboard lighting, a slow memory card reader, no fast USB-C port (USB 3.2 Gen 2 or Thunderbolt 4) with Power Delivery and DisplayPort. Battery runtimes can only be described as average."
