When considering the ASUS ROG Strix versus the Gigabyte Aero, think about whether your priority is gaming or creative work. The ASUS ROG Strix usually has a stronger focus on gaming with robust cooling, enhanced audio, and a high refresh rate display, which could make it better for demanding games but it's also heavier, affecting portability. The Gigabyte Aero, conversely, is designed for creators with a color-accurate screen and a sleeker build, making it easier to carry around but also potentially less optimal for high-end gaming. The Aero may offer a better balance of performance and portability but comes with a typically lower gaming performance than the ASUS ROG Strix. Give Feedback

How the ASUS ROG Strix G16 (2024) and the Gigabyte Aero 16 compare to other laptops
"With the mobile Nvidia GeForce RTX 4080, the Asus ROG Stix G16 hits the sweet spot between performance and cooling. The G16 also does not have to shy away from direct comparison with its supposedly stronger family member, the ROG Strix Scar 18 with its RTX 4090, as most benchmarks of the two laptops are very close to each other. Moreover, the G16 should be significantly cheaper. Depending on the supplier, the price difference here could be almost US$ 2,000. In the 2023 model series, Asus has significantly leveled out the differences between the two high-end lines."
"The Gigabyte Aero 16 is a workstation laptop for light gaming. It's design is still muted, with a silver chassis alongside a black keyboard and trackpad that provides some contrast. The Gigabyte Aero’s full-size chiclet-style keyboard is enjoyable to type on thanks to its snappy feel and responsiveness. The 4K+ AMOLED display is good, but it could be better. It doesn’t handle true black very well and suffers from strong reflections and glare. The Gigabyte Aero excels at productivity performance and can keep up with other gaming laptops in 1080p. But it has very few ports and its refresh rate leaves a bit to be desired."
