The ASUS ROG Strix G16 typically costs more but offers better performance for 3D, machine learning, and engineering tasks, while the ASUS TUF Gaming A16 is less expensive and lighter, making it more portable. The Strix G16 comes with an Intel CPU and Nvidia RTX GPU, which are well-suited for tasks that require hardware ray tracing and high frame rates. On the other hand, the TUF Gaming A16 is equipped with an AMD CPU and GPU, which tend to be more power-efficient, contributing to its longer battery life. Both have the same screen size, resolution, and refresh rate, but the TUF Gaming A16 has a higher contrast ratio, which might offer slightly better visual quality for media consumption. If your priority is gaming and high-performance tasks, the Strix G16 is better, whereas if you prefer longer battery life and portability, the TUF Gaming A16 is a solid choice. Give Feedback

How the ASUS ROG Strix G16 and the ASUS TUF Gaming A16 compare to other laptops
"With the mobile Nvidia GeForce RTX 4080, the Asus ROG Stix G16 hits the sweet spot between performance and cooling. The G16 also does not have to shy away from direct comparison with its supposedly stronger family member, the ROG Strix Scar 18 with its RTX 4090, as most benchmarks of the two laptops are very close to each other. Moreover, the G16 should be significantly cheaper. Depending on the supplier, the price difference here could be almost US$ 2,000. In the 2023 model series, Asus has significantly leveled out the differences between the two high-end lines."
"The A16 makes an excellent case against more expensive laptops like the Asus ROG Zephyrus Duo 16 and the MSI Katana GF76, especially if you’re into 1080p gaming. However, although its affordable, it doesn’t skimp on performance or a robust chassis. But for me, the biggest factor that sets it apart from these options is its incredible battery life. In my time reviewing laptops, I can’t remember when I last saw a gaming laptop lasted 11 and a half hours on a single charge, which makes the A16, in my book, truly outstanding."
