Selecting between the ASUS ROG Strix G15 and the Razer Blade 15 will heavily depend on your needs and preferences. If your priority is gaming or intensive engineering tasks, the Razer Blade 15 is a superior choice with a more powerful graphics card and a higher resolution display that refreshes more quickly. However, this does come with a higher price tag and slightly less portability compared to the ASUS ROG Strix G15, which is still suitable for gaming but less so for intensive tasks. Both laptops offer similar storage and RAM, and neither is particularly light, but the Razer Blade 15 edges out slightly in terms of lower weight, and its build quality is rated slightly higher. The Razer Blade also has a more color-accurate display, making it a better selection for tasks where color fidelity is crucial. On the other hand, if cost and satisfactory gaming performance are more critical than top-tier specs and display quality, the ASUS ROG Strix G15 could be the more budget-friendly option. The Razer Blade 15 has a better screen than the ASUS ROG Strix G15 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
When considering screen quality for general use, the ASUS ROG Strix G15 provides a balance of clear resolution and brightness, ensuring comfortable everyday tasks and media consumption, whereas the Razer Blade 15 offers even higher resolution and brightness, making it excellent for sharp and vibrant display quality. For engineering and design, the color accuracy is crucial, and here the Razer Blade 15 excels with superior coverage of professional color gamuts, granting more precise color representation for detailed work than the ASUS, which is adequate but less optimal in this aspect. However, for gaming and 3D applications, refresh rate is key to smooth motion, and despite both laptops falling short in this area for the most demanding fast-paced scenarios, they still provide reasonable quality for casual gaming and less intensive 3D work.

How the ASUS ROG Strix G15 and the Razer Blade 15 compare to other laptops
"The ASUS ROG Strix G15 is a successful high-performance 15-inch laptop. The Asus ROG Strix impresses with an elaborate design and fast hardware. The latter can unleash its potential well in the large 15-inch case and achieve a decent performance boost compared to the previous generation. Especially the stunning 300 Hz display as well as the RTX 3070 and its generous TDP give gamers their money's worth. Asus didn't neglect seemingly small details, either, such as the keyboard and the maintenance options. The ROG Strix G15 offers a lot of pure performance and excellent workmanship in a 15-inch format, but connectivity leaves something to be desired."
"The 2022 Blade 15 offers roughly 15 to 25 percent faster graphics performance and 20 percent faster CPU performance over last year's Core i7-11800H and RTX 3080 model. Thankfully, the system doesn't need to run noticeably louder or warmer to achieve faster results, but both power consumption and battery life take a hit. The higher consumption in particular appears to be a trend amongst many 12th gen Core laptops including the Schenker Uniwill Technology GM7AG8P or MSI Vector GP66 when compared to their previous generation counterparts. We're also glad to not see below-average CPU performance which was the case for the 10th gen Core i7-10875H model."
