The ASUS ROG Strix G15 offers a robust gaming experience and is more affordable. It's highly capable for general use, gaming, and some engineering tasks due to its AMD Ryzen 9 processor and Nvidia RTX 3050 Ti graphics, yet it's a bit heavier and has a shorter battery life. Conversely, the MSI Stealth GS77 costs more but includes more RAM, a more powerful Nvidia RTX 3070 Ti GPU, and an Intel i7 processor, enhancing its performance for 3D, machine learning, and intensive engineering workloads; its higher-resolution screen improves display detail. It's slimmer and lighter than the ASUS, which helps portability, though it still has a sizeable screen. If you need longer battery life and superior overall performance, including handling high-end games and demanding applications, the MSI Stealth GS77 is the superior option. However, if you're looking for a more budget-friendly choice with good capabilities for gaming and everyday tasks, the ASUS could be the right pick. Give Feedback

The MSI Stealth GS77 has a better screen than the ASUS ROG Strix G15 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
For general use, both the ASUS ROG Strix G15 and the MSI Stealth GS77 offer clear, sharp images and comfortable brightness, making them suitable for everyday tasks such as browsing and video watching. In engineering and design, their capacity to accurately display a wide range of colors is vital for precise work, which both laptops handle well, although slight variations in color representation may exist. However, for gaming and 3D applications, despite their adequate resolution and panel types, the lower refresh rate on these models could lead to less fluid motion and responsiveness, which is key for fast-paced interactive environments.

How the ASUS ROG Strix G15 and the MSI Stealth GS77 compare to other laptops
"The ASUS ROG Strix G15 is a successful high-performance 15-inch laptop. The Asus ROG Strix impresses with an elaborate design and fast hardware. The latter can unleash its potential well in the large 15-inch case and achieve a decent performance boost compared to the previous generation. Especially the stunning 300 Hz display as well as the RTX 3070 and its generous TDP give gamers their money's worth. Asus didn't neglect seemingly small details, either, such as the keyboard and the maintenance options. The ROG Strix G15 offers a lot of pure performance and excellent workmanship in a 15-inch format, but connectivity leaves something to be desired."
"The MSI Stealth GS77 is better than the GS76... mostly. The GS77 is a few steps forward and a few steps back from the GS76. Improvements are numerous including the stronger and more rigid skeleton, higher resolution webcam, larger clickpad, easier serviceability, relatively similar battery runtimes, newer display options, and higher performance at about the same TDP and TGP levels as before. CPU performance is better than expected even when compared to other laptops with Core i7 or Core i9 processors. The newer model feels more substantial than the outgoing one for higher quality impressions as well."
