The ASUS ROG Strix G15 is less expensive, offers solid general use and gaming performance, and has good portability, making it a sensible pick for budget-conscious users who still want decent capabilities for both work and play. In contrast, the Lenovo Legion 9i, while more expensive, provides top-tier performance for intensive tasks such as 3D rendering, machine learning, and engineering software, thanks to a more powerful processor and graphics unit. It also features a superior display with higher resolution and brightness, but has less battery life and is heavier, which could impact its ease of portability. Both have ample storage and high-quality builds, but the Lenovo's additional RAM doubles the multitasking potential and could be beneficial for power users. Give Feedback

NotebookCheck

Marius Schell | February 2021
"The ASUS ROG Strix G15 is a successful high-performance 15-inch laptop. The Asus ROG Strix impresses with an elaborate design and fast hardware. The latter can unleash its potential well in the large 15-inch case and achieve a decent performance boost compared to the previous generation. Especially the stunning 300 Hz display as well as the RTX 3070 and its generous TDP give gamers their money's worth. Asus didn't neglect seemingly small details, either, such as the keyboard and the maintenance options. The ROG Strix G15 offers a lot of pure performance and excellent workmanship in a 15-inch format, but connectivity leaves something to be desired."

PCMag

Matthew Buzzi | December 2023
"The Lenovo Legion 9i is meant as a top-end flagship showcase for enthusiasts, and on that, it delivers. You'll find flashier designs in this price tier—Razer’s all-metal build in a similarly sized laptop like the Blade 16, or monstrous 18-inch machines—but this is a well-thought-out laptop. The chassis is trim for a 16-inch powerhouse, the lid is unique, and bespoke liquid cooling takes performance to the next level."
