When choosing between the ASUS ROG Strix G15 and the ASUS Vivobook 15X, consider the following tradeoffs: If you need high performance for gaming, 3D rendering, or machine learning, the Strix G15 with its more powerful CPU and GPU will be more suitable, but it comes at a higher price. The Vivobook 15X, being lighter and more affordable with decent performance, is good for everyday use and lighter engineering tasks. The Strix G15's better screen refresh rate is great for fast-paced games, while both have the same resolution. Battery life is longer on the Vivobook 15X, which also offers greater portability due to its lighter weight, making it easier to carry around. If you need a laptop that can handle intensive tasks and you don't mind less portability and higher cost, the Strix G15 is a good choice. However, for general use, the Vivobook 15X is more budget-friendly and offers better portability. Give Feedback

The ASUS ROG Strix G15 and ASUS Vivobook 15X are both good for general use, though the ASUS ROG Strix G15 is somewhat better.
The ASUS ROG Strix G15 is rated better for general use due to its more powerful AMD Ryzen 9 CPU, double the RAM for multitasking, and a higher refresh rate screen which enhances visual fluidity, despite being heavier and having a shorter battery life compared to the ASUS Vivobook 15X. Although the Vivobook 15X is more portable and offers longer battery life, its lower-tier AMD Ryzen 5 CPU, less RAM, and standard refresh rate screen make it fair for general use and less suited for more demanding tasks.

How the ASUS ROG Strix G15 and the ASUS Vivobook 15X compare to other laptops
"The ASUS ROG Strix G15 is a successful high-performance 15-inch laptop. The Asus ROG Strix impresses with an elaborate design and fast hardware. The latter can unleash its potential well in the large 15-inch case and achieve a decent performance boost compared to the previous generation. Especially the stunning 300 Hz display as well as the RTX 3070 and its generous TDP give gamers their money's worth. Asus didn't neglect seemingly small details, either, such as the keyboard and the maintenance options. The ROG Strix G15 offers a lot of pure performance and excellent workmanship in a 15-inch format, but connectivity leaves something to be desired."
"All in all, my day on the Vivobook had its ups and downs. It is a really pretty and well-built device, and it had all of the functionality I needed to get me through my browser-based workload. But the speakers weren’t my favorite, and the battery life was just too short."
