The ASUS ROG Strix G15 is more suitable for intensive gaming and 3D/machine learning tasks due to its higher-end processor and dedicated graphics card. However, it is also heavier and has a shorter battery life, making it less portable. On the other hand, the ASUS Vivobook 15 has longer battery life and is lighter, thus more portable, but it's less suited for demanding tasks due to its basic integrated graphics and lower-tier processor. If budget constraints are a concern, the Vivobook 15 is the more economical choice, while the Strix G15 requires a bigger investment. Choose the Strix G15 for performance or the Vivobook 15 for everyday use and better portability. Give Feedback

The ASUS ROG Strix G15 is good for engineering and design, while the ASUS Vivobook 15 is only fair.
The ASUS ROG Strix G15 offers a high-end CPU, more RAM, and a dedicated GPU, making it well-suited for engineering and design tasks that require powerful processing and graphics capabilities, along with a high-quality screen. The ASUS Vivobook 15, while more portable and with a quieter operating noise, has a mid-range CPU, less RAM, and uses integrated graphics, which makes it less capable for demanding engineering tasks despite its ample screen quality.

The ASUS ROG Strix G15 has a better screen than the ASUS Vivobook 15 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
The ASUS ROG Strix G15's screen excels in general use and engineering thanks to its high resolution and brightness, making details sharp and content easy to see, while a broad color gamut ensures accurate color reproduction vital for design work. However, despite its strengths, the Strix’s screen falls short for gaming and 3D applications due to a lower refresh rate, which limits the smoothness of fast-paced visuals. In contrast, the ASUS Vivobook 15 offers adequate resolution and brightness for everyday tasks and sufficient color range for casual design, but lacks the optimized refresh rates and the high color fidelity necessary for serious gaming and professional-level engineering.

"The ASUS ROG Strix G15 is a successful high-performance 15-inch laptop. The Asus ROG Strix impresses with an elaborate design and fast hardware. The latter can unleash its potential well in the large 15-inch case and achieve a decent performance boost compared to the previous generation. Especially the stunning 300 Hz display as well as the RTX 3070 and its generous TDP give gamers their money's worth. Asus didn't neglect seemingly small details, either, such as the keyboard and the maintenance options. The ROG Strix G15 offers a lot of pure performance and excellent workmanship in a 15-inch format, but connectivity leaves something to be desired."
"The Asus VivoBook 15 is a quiet office notebook with a strong screen. However, the VivoBook 15 still has room for improvement. Office and internet applications as well as simple games do not pose any major challenges for the VivoBook - this is ensured by the built-in combination of Ryzen 7 5700U APU and 16 GB of RAM. Heat and noise emissions are acceptable. But, the laptop has weaknesses that should not be present at this level: lack of keyboard lighting, a slow memory card reader, no fast USB-C port (USB 3.2 Gen 2 or Thunderbolt 4) with Power Delivery and DisplayPort. Battery runtimes can only be described as average."
