The ASUS ROG Flow Z13, with its higher price, offers superior performance for tasks like 3D rendering, engineering, and gaming, due to its more powerful processor and graphics. It also has a higher resolution touchscreen with a better refresh rate, making it suitable for detailed work and entertainment. However, its portability is limited by a shorter battery life and heavier build compared to the MSI GF63 Thin. The MSI GF63 Thin, while more affordable, has lower performance capabilities and is best fit for general use or light gaming, but offers better battery life and is lighter, making it easier to carry around. The ASUS ROG Flow Z13 is very good for general use, while the MSI GF63 Thin is only fair.
The ASUS ROG Flow Z13 excels in general use due to its high-end CPU, double the RAM, and a superior screen with higher resolution and touchscreen capabilities, plus it's more portable with a detachable keyboard and a lighter frame. Meanwhile, the MSI GF63 Thin has a lower-tier CPU, half the RAM, and a standard screen without touch functionality, and it's heavier and bulkier, leading to merely fair performance for general use.

The ASUS ROG Flow Z13 is very good for engineering and design, while the MSI GF63 Thin is only fair.
The ASUS ROG Flow Z13 excels in engineering and design use due to its high-performance Intel i9 processor, ample 16GB of RAM, advanced Nvidia RTX GPU, and superior screen quality with high resolution, brightness, and color accuracy. In contrast, the MSI GF63 Thin is rated fair for such tasks because it features a lower-tier Intel i5 processor, 8GB of RAM, less powerful Nvidia GTX GPU, and a display that doesn't match the ASUS in terms of brightness or color space coverage.

The ASUS ROG Flow Z13 has a better screen than the MSI GF63 Thin for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
For general use, the ASUS ROG Flow Z13's high resolution and brightness provide a clear and vivid display, which enhances the viewing experience, while the MSI GF63 Thin's moderate resolution and brightness offer an adequate but less exceptional visual quality. In engineering and design, the ASUS shines with its superior color range, important for accuracy in color-critical tasks, whereas the MSI's color range is acceptable but might not meet professional standards. For gaming and 3D, however, the ASUS's lower refresh rate limits fluid motion, making it less ideal for fast-paced visuals, while the MSI similarly struggles due to its refresh rate, despite both offering satisfactory resolution and panel types for moderate gaming needs.

"The Asus ROG Flow Z13 is a gaming tablet with powerful Alder Lake i9 CPU. The ROG Flow Z13 impresses with its good cooling. After our review, the impression is predominantly positive. Besides a very fast Alder Lake CPU and stable gaming performance, especially the cooling system is surprisingly effective and quiet. You can use the integrated speakers without any issues while gaming. The 1200p display in the 16:10 format also impresses with good color reproduction and high brightness. Since the battery runtimes aren't particularly long as it is, we wouldn't recommend the optional 4K panel."
"If you leave aside the meagre port selection (no card reader, no DisplayPort, no Thunderbolt 3 or USB 3.1 Gen2), the fan control that could be improved (idle mode!) and the relatively dark and slow display, the MSI GF63 Thin 9SC does not have any major weaknesses. The 15-inch gamer is compact, has a low weight and offers a good price-to-performance ratio, which should please gamers that are looking for both a portable and an affordable gaming notebook. Input devices, battery life, case quality and performance are all appropriate for this purchase price."
