The ASUS ROG Flow Z13 is positioned at an upper midrange price and tends to be more expensive, offering higher performance for engineering tasks due to better CPU, RAM, and GPU capabilities, but it is less portable. The Microsoft Surface Laptop Go 3 comes at a lower midrange price, making it more affordable, with sufficient performance for general use and enhanced portability for on-the-go computing, but it may be unsuitable for more demanding engineering applications. Choose the ASUS for high performance in intensive tasks at a higher cost, or the Surface Laptop Go 3 for portability and affordability with moderate performance. Give Feedback

The ASUS ROG Flow Z13 has a better screen than the Microsoft Surface Laptop Go 3 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
When choosing between the ASUS ROG Flow Z13 and the Microsoft Surface Laptop Go 3 for general use, consider that the ASUS likely offers a higher resolution and brightness, resulting in crisper images and better visibility in various lighting conditions. For engineering and design work, the ASUS's ability to display a wider range of colors through expanded color gamuts can be crucial for precision in visual tasks, which may give it an edge over the Microsoft. However, for those focused on 3D gaming, the ASUS's lower refresh rate could make for less smooth visuals compared to options specifically designed for gaming, despite its better resolution and panel technology.

"The Asus ROG Flow Z13 is a gaming tablet with powerful Alder Lake i9 CPU. The ROG Flow Z13 impresses with its good cooling. After our review, the impression is predominantly positive. Besides a very fast Alder Lake CPU and stable gaming performance, especially the cooling system is surprisingly effective and quiet. You can use the integrated speakers without any issues while gaming. The 1200p display in the 16:10 format also impresses with good color reproduction and high brightness. Since the battery runtimes aren't particularly long as it is, we wouldn't recommend the optional 4K panel."
"When it comes to affordably priced laptops, the numbers after the dollar sign are crucially important—more so than in any other price category. By increasing the starting price of its Laptop Go line by $200 and not changing much else, Microsoft irrevocably altered the calculus surrounding the decision of whether to buy the Surface Laptop Go 3. Sure, it has a newer processor and longer battery life, but don’t think for a second you’re not paying dearly for that extra RAM and SSD capacity at that new price."
