The ASUS ROG Flow Z13 is very good for general use, while the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 is good.
The ASUS ROG Flow Z13 is better for general use compared to the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 due to its superior CPU and RAM, which translate to faster and more efficient performance, as well as a higher quality screen with better brightness and colour coverage for a more vibrant display. Additionally, the ASUS's tablet functionality, combined with a lighter weight and a higher portability score, makes it more versatile, despite its shorter battery life compared to the Lenovo, which however offers a longer battery life and quieter operation but is less capable in processing, display quality, and overall performance.

The ASUS ROG Flow Z13 has a better screen than the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
The ASUS ROG Flow Z13 offers a display that excels in clarity and brightness, which enhances the experience for general use and detailed engineering tasks, while its color accuracy caters to professionals in design. Yet, its refresh rate is not as high as dedicated gaming laptops, which is a setback for gaming and 3D applications where fluid motion is key. Conversely, the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 has a screen that's adequate for everyday tasks and engineering work but doesn't stand out in any particular area; its moderate performance is further diminished in gaming and 3D scenarios by the same lower refresh rate issue.

"The Asus ROG Flow Z13 is a gaming tablet with powerful Alder Lake i9 CPU. The ROG Flow Z13 impresses with its good cooling. After our review, the impression is predominantly positive. Besides a very fast Alder Lake CPU and stable gaming performance, especially the cooling system is surprisingly effective and quiet. You can use the integrated speakers without any issues while gaming. The 1200p display in the 16:10 format also impresses with good color reproduction and high brightness. Since the battery runtimes aren't particularly long as it is, we wouldn't recommend the optional 4K panel."
Olivier Martin, Ryan Lim, and John Peroramas | May 2023
"The Lenovo IdeaPad 3i is decent for use as a workstation. Its Intel CPU and integrated graphics can only handle light productivity tasks, not demanding workloads like video editing or 3D graphics. You also can't do any color-critical work because the available displays have a narrow color gamut. It has a good port selection, but its USB-C lacks Thunderbolt 4 support. On the upside, it has a comfortable keyboard and doesn't get hot or loud under load."
