The ASUS ROG Flow Z13, with its higher price, offers a powerful combination of CPU and a high-end GPU, making it well-suited for intensive tasks like gaming, 3D rendering, and machine learning. It also has a higher refresh rate display, is more portable, and includes touchscreen functionality, but has shorter battery life. On the other hand, the Lenovo IdeaPad Pro 5i is less expensive, with a larger screen size, longer battery life, but lower portability due to its greater weight. The IdeaPad Pro 5i also features a high-quality keyboard but lacks a touchscreen. Both laptops have similar GPU capabilities, making them both viable for tasks requiring solid graphics performance. The ASUS ROG Flow Z13 has a better screen than the Lenovo IdeaPad Pro 5i for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
The ASUS ROG Flow Z13 has a high-resolution display with brilliant colors and brightness, making it ideal for general use and engineering where color precision and detail clarity are key, but it lacks the high refresh rate desired by gamers for smooth visuals in fast-paced games. The Lenovo IdeaPad Pro 5i also offers a high-quality display with robust color accuracy for general activities and engineering tasks, although it doesn't cover as wide a color gamut as the ASUS, which may be noticeable to design professionals. For gaming and 3D applications, the lower refresh rates on both laptops could lead to less fluid motion compared to models tailored for gaming, which often prioritize refresh rate for a more immersive experience.

How the ASUS ROG Flow Z13 and the Lenovo IdeaPad Pro 5i compare to other laptops
"The Asus ROG Flow Z13 is a gaming tablet with powerful Alder Lake i9 CPU. The ROG Flow Z13 impresses with its good cooling. After our review, the impression is predominantly positive. Besides a very fast Alder Lake CPU and stable gaming performance, especially the cooling system is surprisingly effective and quiet. You can use the integrated speakers without any issues while gaming. The 1200p display in the 16:10 format also impresses with good color reproduction and high brightness. Since the battery runtimes aren't particularly long as it is, we wouldn't recommend the optional 4K panel."
"Lenovo’s IdeaPad Pro 5i represents an impressive opening salvo for Meteor Lake in the ultraportable space against familiar foes from AMD and Apple. Not only does the Core Ultra 5 125H processor provide good performance across the board, but battery life remains a strong point against the Acer Swift Edge 16 with its AMD Ryzen 7 7840U processor. It can’t quite match the endurance of the 15-inch MacBook Pro, but the gap is shrinking."
