The ASUS ROG Flow Z13 is typically much more expensive but offers superior performance with a high-end processor and a better GPU, making it suitable for intensive tasks like gaming, engineering work, or 3D modeling. It has a large storage capacity, higher RAM, and a touchscreen with a high resolution and refresh rate, benefiting creative professionals who need a portable and powerful device. However, its battery life is shorter, and its smaller screen might be less appealing for those who prefer a larger display.
On the other hand, the Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming 3 is much less expensive with decent gaming capabilities, a reasonable processor, and a GPU that supports gaming but at a lower intensity. It provides longer battery life and a larger screen, which might be better for media consumption and general use, but it has less storage and RAM which could limit performance during demanding tasks. The ASUS ROG Flow Z13 is very good for general use, while the Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming 3 is good.
The ASUS ROG Flow Z13 is highly regarded for general use due to its powerful CPU and ample RAM, superior screen quality with high brightness and color coverage, and convertible design that allows it to be used as a tablet, enhancing its portability but with shorter battery life. The Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming 3, while larger and heavier, providing a less portable option, offers good general-use capabilities with a solid CPU and enough RAM, a decent screen, and key features such as good keyboard quality and longer battery life, albeit with less storage capacity than the ASUS.

The ASUS ROG Flow Z13 is good for gaming and AI, while the Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming 3 is only fair.
The ASUS ROG Flow Z13 offers better gaming and 3D performance with a more powerful Nvidia RTX 4050 GPU and a higher screen refresh rate of 165Hz compared to the Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming 3, which has a modest Nvidia RTX 2050 GPU and a lower refresh rate of 120Hz. The ASUS ROG Flow Z13 has a better screen than the Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming 3 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
The ASUS ROG Flow Z13 offers crisp, clear visuals and vibrant color reproduction which, alongside its high resolution and brightness, provides an excellent experience for general use and detailed tasks like engineering and design due to its wide color gamuts. However, its lower refresh rate might be less satisfactory for high-speed gaming and 3D applications where smooth motion is crucial. The Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming 3, while offering good resolution and brightness suitable for everyday tasks and sufficient color accuracy for professional design work, also falls short for gaming and 3D due to a less optimal refresh rate.

"The Asus ROG Flow Z13 is a gaming tablet with powerful Alder Lake i9 CPU. The ROG Flow Z13 impresses with its good cooling. After our review, the impression is predominantly positive. Besides a very fast Alder Lake CPU and stable gaming performance, especially the cooling system is surprisingly effective and quiet. You can use the integrated speakers without any issues while gaming. The 1200p display in the 16:10 format also impresses with good color reproduction and high brightness. Since the battery runtimes aren't particularly long as it is, we wouldn't recommend the optional 4K panel."
"The Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming 3 is one of the most powerful RTX 3050 Ti laptops. If you disregard the mediocre quality of the case in terms of the material and workmanship, Lenovo has created a successful budget gaming laptop with the IdeaPad Gaming. Thanks to high TDPs and constant performance development, the Core i5-12500H and GeForce RTX 3050 Ti are able to show their full power, while in contrast, the (mostly slower) competitors deliver a better battery life. However, hardly any of the alternative laptops are able to reach the image quality of the Gaming 3. Most of the competitors are left behind in terms of the color space and brightness."
