The ASUS ROG Flow Z13 is pricier but offers superior performance for intensive engineering tasks, gaming, and 3D/machine learning due to a more robust processor and dedicated graphics card. It's lightweight and has a high refresh rate touchscreen with better color coverage, suitable for creative work. However, its battery life is shorter. On the other hand, the Lenovo Flex 5 14 costs less and provides longer battery life, making it a better choice for general use and portability. Although also equipped with a touchscreen, its performance in heavy tasks and gaming won't match the ASUS due to integrated graphics. If portability and budget are priorities, consider the Lenovo; if performance in high-end tasks matters more, opt for the ASUS. Give Feedback

The ASUS ROG Flow Z13 is very good for engineering and design, while the Lenovo Flex 5 14 is good.
The ASUS ROG Flow Z13 stands out for engineering and design use due to its higher-end CPU (Intel i9) and dedicated GPU (Nvidia RTX 4050), which better support demanding tasks, and a higher-quality screen with increased brightness and color accuracy. On the other hand, the Lenovo Flex 5 14 offers a competent AMD Ryzen 7 CPU with integrated Vega 8 graphics and a good screen, but it falls short in performance when handling more intensive engineering and graphic design work compared to the ASUS model.

The ASUS ROG Flow Z13 has a better screen than the Lenovo Flex 5 14 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
When choosing a laptop, consider that the ASUS ROG Flow Z13 offers excellent visuals for everyday tasks and professional design work thanks to its high-resolution display and wide color range, providing crisp images and vibrant colors. For engineering, its accurate color reproduction is crucial for precise designs, but for gaming and 3D applications, it falls short because of its lower refresh rate, making motion appear less smooth. In contrast, the Lenovo Flex 5 14 provides satisfactory image quality for general and engineering use at a potentially lower cost, but like the ASUS, it isn't ideal for gaming or 3D due to its modest refresh rate.

How the ASUS ROG Flow Z13 and the Lenovo Flex 5 14 compare to other laptops
"The Asus ROG Flow Z13 is a gaming tablet with powerful Alder Lake i9 CPU. The ROG Flow Z13 impresses with its good cooling. After our review, the impression is predominantly positive. Besides a very fast Alder Lake CPU and stable gaming performance, especially the cooling system is surprisingly effective and quiet. You can use the integrated speakers without any issues while gaming. The 1200p display in the 16:10 format also impresses with good color reproduction and high brightness. Since the battery runtimes aren't particularly long as it is, we wouldn't recommend the optional 4K panel."
"The highlight of the latest IdeaPad Flex 5 14 is clearly its AMD CPU. The octa-core Ryzen 7 5700U is insanely fast even when compared to the best Tiger Lake Ultrabooks in the market or even Core H CPUs in many gaming laptops. It's a lot of raw processing power for what is supposed to be a budget 14-inch convertible. If your daily workloads can benefit from extra multi-thread CPU performance, then look no further than the inexpensive AMD-powered Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 5 14. For regular on-the-road browsing or video streaming, however, a slimmer and lighter 10th gen Core Yoga, Spectre, or XPS would be a more balanced option."
