Choosing between the ASUS ROG Flow Z13 and the HP 17" Laptop depends on your needs. The ASUS is a powerful, compact option with a higher price; it's suitable for gaming and intensive tasks like 3D rendering or engineering, has a high-quality display, and is more portable than the HP. The HP offers a larger screen and is less expensive, but it has less powerful graphics and is heavier, making it less portable. Both have ample storage and memory for general use, but if performance and portability are top priorities, the ASUS is the better option. If cost savings and screen size are more important, consider the HP. Give Feedback

The ASUS ROG Flow Z13 is good for gaming and AI, while the HP 17" Laptop is only fair.
The ASUS ROG Flow Z13 is better for gaming and 3D due to its powerful Nvidia RTX 4050 GPU and high screen refresh rate of 165Hz, which provides smoother visuals and better gaming performance compared to the HP 17" Laptop's integrated AMD Ryzen 7 7730U Vega 8 graphics and standard 60Hz refresh rate. Even though the HP has a larger screen, the quality of the ASUS's display combined with its higher-end GPU makes it more suitable for intensive tasks such as gaming and 3D applications.

The ASUS ROG Flow Z13 has a better screen than the HP 17" Laptop for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
The ASUS ROG Flow Z13 has a high-resolution display that offers excellent clarity and vibrant colors for general use and engineering tasks, aided by a panel that accurately reproduces a wide range of colors. However, its refresh rate is lower, making it less ideal for gaming and 3D work where smooth motion is critical. Conversely, the HP 17" Laptop's standard resolution and average color reproduction provide a competent screen for everyday tasks and some design work, but its performance for gaming and 3D applications is limited due to a similarly modest refresh rate.

"The Asus ROG Flow Z13 is a gaming tablet with powerful Alder Lake i9 CPU. The ROG Flow Z13 impresses with its good cooling. After our review, the impression is predominantly positive. Besides a very fast Alder Lake CPU and stable gaming performance, especially the cooling system is surprisingly effective and quiet. You can use the integrated speakers without any issues while gaming. The 1200p display in the 16:10 format also impresses with good color reproduction and high brightness. Since the battery runtimes aren't particularly long as it is, we wouldn't recommend the optional 4K panel."
"As far as starter laptops go, the HP Laptop 17 is a sound investment. Sure, it might not be the lightest of options, but what you get for the price is a well-rounded machine that fits multiple niches. Whether it be office duties that require you to multi-task between multiple programs, or study tasks in which you’ll spend hours browsing online, this laptop does it all. Plus, when it's time to unwind, you can watch your favorite shows or movies on a super-wide display. What's best of all is that you can do all this for about half a day on a single charge."
