The ASUS ROG Flow Z13 offers better portability and may be suited for those who need to move around a lot with their device; however, it falls in the upper midrange price category. On the other hand, the Gigabyte Aero 5 provides a balance of good performance and enhanced graphics capabilities ideal for gaming and intensive tasks, while being a bit more affordable at a midrange price. If top-tier graphics and a slightly lower price are priorities, go for the Gigabyte Aero 5, but if you prefer a more portable device and don't mind spending a bit more, the ASUS ROG Flow Z13 could be the better choice. The ASUS ROG Flow Z13 has a better screen than the Gigabyte Aero 5 for gaming and AI, and software development, while the Gigabyte Aero 5 has a better screen for general use, and engineering and design.
The ASUS ROG Flow Z13 has a high-resolution display and brightness which make it appealing for everyday tasks and detailed engineering work, but its lower refresh rate is less ideal for the fast-paced visuals needed in gaming and 3D modeling. The Gigabyte Aero 5 offers a similar high-resolution, bright panel with wide color coverage that's excellent for precision tasks such as design and photo editing, enhancing the overall visual experience for creators and professionals. However, like the ASUS, it falls short for gaming and 3D use due to its lower refresh rate, which may not provide as fluid motion as desired in these scenarios.

How the ASUS ROG Flow Z13 and the Gigabyte Aero 5 compare to other laptops
"The Asus ROG Flow Z13 is a gaming tablet with powerful Alder Lake i9 CPU. The ROG Flow Z13 impresses with its good cooling. After our review, the impression is predominantly positive. Besides a very fast Alder Lake CPU and stable gaming performance, especially the cooling system is surprisingly effective and quiet. You can use the integrated speakers without any issues while gaming. The 1200p display in the 16:10 format also impresses with good color reproduction and high brightness. Since the battery runtimes aren't particularly long as it is, we wouldn't recommend the optional 4K panel."
"It is unfortunate that the Gigabyte AERO notebook series have seem to lost its charm, as it’s not exactly any much different from the AORUS series now. Regardless, content creators and designers will certainly still appreciate the features on the AERO 5 XE4, which are fundamental to their work. This largely revolved around the notebook’s display, which is colour calibrated and validated, high resolution (4K) and with great AMOLED colour representation. Now that the AERO 5 XE4 has improved its performance with the latest CPU and GPU, the professionals can also appreciate the improved productivity from the notebook."
