The ASUS ROG Flow Z13 offers more portability and higher refresh rate for smooth visuals but at a cost of smaller screen size and less battery life. In contrast, the Gigabyte Aero 17 provides a larger and higher resolution screen for detailed engineering and creative work, plus more storage space, yet it's heavier and less suitable for frequent travel. The Flow Z13 is equipped with a more recent processor and suitable for gaming with relevant features, while the Aero 17, despite its slightly older processor, has a more powerful graphics card. The Aero 17 also has a higher color gamut coverage making it superior for color-critical tasks. Give Feedback

The ASUS ROG Flow Z13 has a better screen than the Gigabyte Aero 17 for software development, while the Gigabyte Aero 17 has a better screen for general use, and engineering and design.
When selecting a laptop for general use, a high-resolution display with good brightness levels, like on the Gigabyte Aero 17, offers crisp text and vivid images, making it excellent for everyday tasks. For engineering and design, color accuracy is crucial for the work's integrity, and the Gigabyte Aero 17's superior coverage of color gamuts ensures that designs are rendered with the intended hues. However, for gaming and 3D applications where fluid motion is key, both laptops fall short due to lower refresh rates, which could result in less smooth visuals during fast-paced scenes.

How the ASUS ROG Flow Z13 and the Gigabyte Aero 17 compare to other laptops
"The Asus ROG Flow Z13 is a gaming tablet with powerful Alder Lake i9 CPU. The ROG Flow Z13 impresses with its good cooling. After our review, the impression is predominantly positive. Besides a very fast Alder Lake CPU and stable gaming performance, especially the cooling system is surprisingly effective and quiet. You can use the integrated speakers without any issues while gaming. The 1200p display in the 16:10 format also impresses with good color reproduction and high brightness. Since the battery runtimes aren't particularly long as it is, we wouldn't recommend the optional 4K panel."
"Not only is the Aero 17 a very good laptop for gamers but also for content creators. With the upgrade to the Intel Core i9-11980HK, Gigabyte particularly improved the system performance. In addition, the hardware package is rounded by the extremely fast SSD and 32 GB of working memory in dual-channel mode. Compared to the predecessor, the battery life is reduced only moderately, and the 4K display also basically keeps its good qualities."
