The ASUS ROG Flow Z13 offers superior portability due to its smaller size and lighter weight, making it more suitable for frequent travelers or those needing a more compact laptop. Despite its smaller form factor, it provides competitive performance suitable for general use, engineering tasks, and has features tailored for gaming, such as a touchscreen and high refresh rate. However, the Eluktronics Mech-15 G3R delivers more powerful performance for tasks like 3D rendering or intensive gaming thanks to a higher tier graphics card. It also features a larger screen size, but it's heavier and less convenient to carry around, thus less portable. So, if you prioritize mobility and general-purpose use with occasional gaming, the ASUS might be better, while the Eluktronics is preferable for stationary use with a focus on performance-intensive tasks and gaming. How the ASUS ROG Flow Z13 and the Eluktronics Mech-15 G3R compare to other laptops
"The Asus ROG Flow Z13 is a gaming tablet with powerful Alder Lake i9 CPU. The ROG Flow Z13 impresses with its good cooling. After our review, the impression is predominantly positive. Besides a very fast Alder Lake CPU and stable gaming performance, especially the cooling system is surprisingly effective and quiet. You can use the integrated speakers without any issues while gaming. The 1200p display in the 16:10 format also impresses with good color reproduction and high brightness. Since the battery runtimes aren't particularly long as it is, we wouldn't recommend the optional 4K panel."
"Everything considered, the XMG Neo 15 (Mech-15 G3R) with RTX 3070 Ti is a great gaming performer. The combination of the Ti graphics card with the new Intel 12th gen CPU is enough to go toe-to-toe, and even slightly pull ahead of the RTX 3080 in most titles, though on games with Ray-Tracing enabled, particularly with graphics set to the maximum and on higher resolutions, the additional VRAM of the RTX 3080 makes a big impact, and the 8GB RTX 3070 Ti machine simply can’t compete, even with the more powerful processor."
