The ASUS ROG Flow Z13 is significantly more expensive than the Dell Inspiron 16 5620, offering superior performance for 3D rendering, machine learning, and engineering tasks due to a more powerful processor and GPU. It's also more suitable for gaming with hardware ray tracing and DLSS, but it’s less portable and has a shorter battery life. The Dell is more affordable, with ample performance for general use and a longer battery life, making it a better option for those on a budget or needing longer unplugging periods. Both have 16GB RAM and similar screen sizes, but the ASUS is brighter and has a higher resolution and refresh rate, providing a more vibrant and smoother visual experience. If portability and budget are primary concerns, the Dell may be a better fit, while the ASUS is a match for those requiring higher performance and better screen quality for visual-heavy tasks. The ASUS ROG Flow Z13 has a better screen than the Dell Inspiron 16 5620 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
The ASUS ROG Flow Z13, with its high-resolution display, brightness, and wide color gamuts, provides crisp and vibrant visuals essential for professionals in engineering and design, while also serving well for everyday tasks. However, its lower refresh rate might not appeal to those who prioritize a smooth experience in high-speed gaming or 3D modeling. The Dell Inspiron, offering fair performance in display resolution and brightness, is adequate for general use and some level of precision work but falls short for gaming and 3D due to its limitations in both refresh rate and color accuracy.

How the ASUS ROG Flow Z13 and the Dell Inspiron 16 5620 compare to other laptops
"The Asus ROG Flow Z13 is a gaming tablet with powerful Alder Lake i9 CPU. The ROG Flow Z13 impresses with its good cooling. After our review, the impression is predominantly positive. Besides a very fast Alder Lake CPU and stable gaming performance, especially the cooling system is surprisingly effective and quiet. You can use the integrated speakers without any issues while gaming. The 1200p display in the 16:10 format also impresses with good color reproduction and high brightness. Since the battery runtimes aren't particularly long as it is, we wouldn't recommend the optional 4K panel."
"If the world is exciting enough right now, you can do far worse than a solid performer that you know will get the job done. Our review model is as powerful as you'd want an office machine to be unless you're performing specialist tasks and the price point is pretty attractive (unless work will let you have a MacBook Air instead)."
