For general use, both the ASUS ROG Flow Z13 and ASUS Vivobook S 15 OLED will perform well with their high-end processors and ample memory. If portability is a priority and you prefer a tablet form factor with a touchscreen, the ROG Flow Z13 is lighter and more compact. On the other hand, the Vivobook S 15 OLED boasts a larger screen with vibrant OLED technology, better for multimedia consumption and offering longer battery life, though it's heavier and less portable. If you're involved in gaming or tasks like 3D rendering, the ROG Flow Z13's dedicated graphics card provides significant performance benefits over the integrated graphics of the Vivobook. However, this gaming-oriented device comes at a higher price point. If you seek a balance between performance and value for activities like document editing and web browsing without the need for high-end graphics, the Vivobook is a more cost-effective option. The ASUS ROG Flow Z13 is good for gaming and AI, while the ASUS Vivobook S 15 OLED is only fair.
The ASUS ROG Flow Z13 stands out for gaming and 3D tasks primarily due to its Nvidia RTX 4050 GPU and high screen refresh rate, essential for smooth visuals in fast-paced games and rendering 3D models. Conversely, the ASUS Vivobook S 15 OLED, boasting the same powerful CPU, offers an outstanding OLED screen for vibrant colors and contrast but has an integrated GPU and a lower refresh rate, making it less optimal for the very demanding graphics of high-end games and complex 3D applications.

The ASUS ROG Flow Z13 has a better screen than the ASUS Vivobook S 15 OLED for software development, while the ASUS Vivobook S 15 OLED has a better screen for general use, and engineering and design.
The ASUS ROG Flow Z13 and ASUS Vivobook S 15 OLED both offer high resolution and brightness, with panel types that render crisp and vibrant colors, making them excellent for general use and detailed engineering work where color accuracy is crucial. However, for Gaming and 3D applications, a high refresh rate is key to a smooth experience, and as both laptops have poor refresh rates, they are not ideal for these uses. While suitable for productivity and professional design tasks due to their color fidelity and clarity, gamers and 3D designers would find the screens insufficient for their specialized requirements.

How the ASUS ROG Flow Z13 and the ASUS Vivobook S 15 OLED compare to other laptops
"The Asus ROG Flow Z13 is a gaming tablet with powerful Alder Lake i9 CPU. The ROG Flow Z13 impresses with its good cooling. After our review, the impression is predominantly positive. Besides a very fast Alder Lake CPU and stable gaming performance, especially the cooling system is surprisingly effective and quiet. You can use the integrated speakers without any issues while gaming. The 1200p display in the 16:10 format also impresses with good color reproduction and high brightness. Since the battery runtimes aren't particularly long as it is, we wouldn't recommend the optional 4K panel."
"The Asus Vivobook S 15 OLED excels as a capable work machine at an affordable price. It offers commendable performance, thanks to its 12th Gen Intel chip, delivers quality on-screen entertainment with its 15.6-inch OLED display, and can (kind of) get you through a full day of work. Oh, and its special Asus Antibacterial Guard is a nice touch for those who like a clean laptop."
