The ASUS ROG Flow Z13 is typically much more expensive and offers a more powerful Intel CPU and Nvidia GPU, making it well-suited for intensive gaming, 3D rendering, and machine learning. Despite its smaller screen, it provides higher resolution, a touchscreen, better color coverage, and higher brightness, alongside a very high refresh rate which is great for fast motion. However, its battery life is shorter, and it's quite portable with a lower weight. On the other hand, the ASUS Vivobook S 15 is typically much less expensive, has a larger screen but lower resolution without a touchscreen, and uses a less powerful AMD CPU and integrated graphics, which still perform well for general use and engineering tasks. Its battery lasts longer, but it's heavier, affecting portability. Each has similar storage and RAM, but the Flow Z13 has better overall performance scores, especially in 3D/machine learning and gaming, while the Vivobook S 15 offers good general use and a more affordable price. How the ASUS ROG Flow Z13 and the ASUS Vivobook S 15 compare to other laptops
"The Asus ROG Flow Z13 is a gaming tablet with powerful Alder Lake i9 CPU. The ROG Flow Z13 impresses with its good cooling. After our review, the impression is predominantly positive. Besides a very fast Alder Lake CPU and stable gaming performance, especially the cooling system is surprisingly effective and quiet. You can use the integrated speakers without any issues while gaming. The 1200p display in the 16:10 format also impresses with good color reproduction and high brightness. Since the battery runtimes aren't particularly long as it is, we wouldn't recommend the optional 4K panel."
"Internals make Asus VivoBook S15 laptop a compelling option. The Asus multimedia laptop may look rather below-average with its modest black chassis, lack of a dedicated GPU, limited RAM and meagre port selection without Thunderbolt support. But your impression of the device will start changing once you set your eyes on its high-contrast OLED capable of producing deep blacks and highly accurate colours. And your opinion will change completely when the VivoBook is switched on. The AMD CPU can effortlessly keep up with powerful rivals from Intel. The integrated Radeon graphics blows away Intel's iGPU when it comes to graphics workloads such as rendering and simpler games."
