The ASUS ROG Flow X16 offers a larger storage capacity and a higher resolution touchscreen. It is lighter and hence more portable than the MSI GP66 Leopard. The MSI, however, has a more powerful GPU, which could enhance performance for 3D tasks and gaming. Additionally, the ASUS has better battery life but is also newer and runs a more recent version of Windows. If portability and battery life are top priorities, and you're interested in a 2-in-1 form factor with touchscreen capability, the ASUS might suit you better. On the other hand, if you need higher graphical performance for tasks like gaming or 3D rendering and don't mind a heavier machine, the MSI GP66 Leopard could be a good fit. Give Feedback

The ASUS ROG Flow X16 has a better screen than the MSI GP66 Leopard for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
The ASUS ROG Flow X16 outshines in general use and engineering due to its high-resolution display and superior brightness, also offering expansive color gamuts that ensure precise color work for engineering and design tasks. Although it has excellent panel type and good resolution for gaming, the Flow X16's lower refresh rate makes fast-paced 3D games less smooth, affecting the gaming experience. On the other hand, while the MSI GP66 Leopard's display is competent for general tasks and engineering with adequate resolution and color accuracy, its gaming performance suffers similarly due to a lower refresh rate which is crucial for a fluid visual experience in 3D games.

How the ASUS ROG Flow X16 and the MSI GP66 Leopard compare to other laptops
"Above all else, the Asus ROG Flow X16 is one thing - versatile! It is a thin, mobile work device, it's a 2-in-1, tablet, a powerful workstation and even a gaming PC. But something even more surprising: It does all of these things really well without making any big blunders. It's anything but a lazy compromise. Because, despite its compact dimensions and 2-in-1 functionality, the hardware isn't throttled and boasts, at least in turbo mode, above-average performance."
"The MSI GP66 Leopard is a good budget high-performance gamer. The MSI also does a lot right outside of the pure performance despite it's low price. For example, the adaptive cooling system really surprised us positively, even in Extreme Performance Mode. And the display is not a budget panel either, but at least outshines the competition in terms of brightness. Of course, you also have to accept a few compromises in this price category. These include the Leopard's poor battery runtimes and the less than optimal build quality, which is also noticeable in the more complicated maintenance."
