The ASUS ROG Flow X16 offers a balance of portability and power, with a touchscreen and high refresh rate, suitable for gaming and general use; it has a mid-tier processor and graphics card. In contrast, the Gigabyte Aero 16, while slightly heavier and with a lower refresh rate screen, boasts a stronger graphics card and a high-resolution OLED display, which is superior for color accuracy and engineering tasks. The Aero also has double the storage of the Flow X16. Both priced similarly, your choice should depend on whether you prioritize gaming and portability (ASUS) or creative work and display quality (Gigabyte). Give Feedback

The ASUS ROG Flow X16 has a better screen than the Gigabyte Aero 16 for gaming and AI, while the Gigabyte Aero 16 has a better screen for general use, engineering and design, and content creation.
For general use, both the ASUS ROG Flow X16 and Gigabyte Aero 16 have displays with clear resolution and brightness, catering well to everyday tasks like web browsing and video streaming. For engineering and design work, the Aero 16 stands out with its superior color gamut coverage, which ensures more accurate color rendition for critical tasks such as photo editing or CAD work. However, for gaming and 3D applications, both models aren't ideal because they have lower refresh rates, which can result in less fluid motion and slower response times during fast-paced scenes.

How the ASUS ROG Flow X16 and the Gigabyte Aero 16 compare to other laptops
"Above all else, the Asus ROG Flow X16 is one thing - versatile! It is a thin, mobile work device, it's a 2-in-1, tablet, a powerful workstation and even a gaming PC. But something even more surprising: It does all of these things really well without making any big blunders. It's anything but a lazy compromise. Because, despite its compact dimensions and 2-in-1 functionality, the hardware isn't throttled and boasts, at least in turbo mode, above-average performance."
"The Gigabyte Aero 16 is a workstation laptop for light gaming. It's design is still muted, with a silver chassis alongside a black keyboard and trackpad that provides some contrast. The Gigabyte Aero’s full-size chiclet-style keyboard is enjoyable to type on thanks to its snappy feel and responsiveness. The 4K+ AMOLED display is good, but it could be better. It doesn’t handle true black very well and suffers from strong reflections and glare. The Gigabyte Aero excels at productivity performance and can keep up with other gaming laptops in 1080p. But it has very few ports and its refresh rate leaves a bit to be desired."
