The ASUS ROG Flow X13, while more expensive, offers better portability, screen quality, and overall higher performance in general use and engineering tasks due to its advanced AMD Ryzen CPU and newer Nvidia RTX GPU. It also has a higher refresh rate touchscreen display, which aids in productivity and creative tasks. However, the MSI GP66 Leopard is less costly and may offer better heat management and a larger screen; still, its performance for engineering and general tasks is slightly lower, and its battery life is shorter than the ASUS. If budget permits and mobility is crucial, with a need for top-tier performance, the ASUS is recommended, but if seeking value and a larger display, consider the MSI. Give Feedback

The ASUS ROG Flow X13 has a better screen than the MSI GP66 Leopard for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
For general use, the ASUS ROG Flow X13 excels due to its high-resolution display and brightness, making texts sharper and content more vibrant, which enhances the overall viewing experience. When it comes to engineering and design, this same model boasts impressive color coverage, essential for tasks requiring precise color work and detailed visual accuracy. For gaming and 3D applications, however, the ASUS's lower refresh rate holds it back, leading to less fluid motion, whereas the MSI GP66 Leopard, despite having adequate resolution and panel type, also falls short in refresh rate for optimal gaming and 3D performance.

How the ASUS ROG Flow X13 and the MSI GP66 Leopard compare to other laptops
"The Asus ROG Flow X13 is not an off-the-shelf convertible. This quickly becomes clear when you take a closer look at the technical specs. The AMD Ryzen 9 5980HS is a state-of-the-art SoC with 8 cores and 16 threads, which also makes the 2-in-1 interesting as a work device. With 32 GB of RAM and a 1 TB SSD, gamers are also well taken care of. The dedicated Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 Max-Q fits well into the overall concept and ensures a solid 3D performance. With the eGPU dock, which is equipped with a GeForce RTX 3080, the small convertible transforms into a full-fledged desktop replacement in terms of performance."
"The MSI GP66 Leopard is a good budget high-performance gamer. The MSI also does a lot right outside of the pure performance despite it's low price. For example, the adaptive cooling system really surprised us positively, even in Extreme Performance Mode. And the display is not a budget panel either, but at least outshines the competition in terms of brightness. Of course, you also have to accept a few compromises in this price category. These include the Leopard's poor battery runtimes and the less than optimal build quality, which is also noticeable in the more complicated maintenance."
